Storage system for chicken feeders
A feeder storage apparatus for a chicken feeder includes a body section, a coupling member and/or a mounting web substructure, and a feeder contacting section. The mounting web substructure is positioned on a first end of the body section for securing the body section to the coupling member and/or a chicken feed tube. The feeder contacting section is positioned on a second end of the body section and includes angled arms to support a feeder above the feed tube.
METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR A SUPPLEMENTAL SPRING LOADED FEEDER
An apparatus and method is described for a supplemental feeder system that provides a spring loaded supplemental feeder mounted on and spaced along a feed line. The spring loaded supplemental feeder acts as control that controls one or more follower supplemental feeders that is attached to control the one or more distally space apart supplemental feeders to dispense feed. The apparatus includes a pair of left and right annular collar clamps spaced apart and a tubular collar coaxial with respect to the left and right annular collar clamps and rotationally attached to the left and right annular collars. An extension tube having an interior extension channel is communicably attached to an interior channel of the tubular collar.
SHELF READY CONTAINERS WITH BIRD-FEEDER DISPENSOR
A container includes a plurality of panels connected together at fold lines to extend at least partially around an interior space. A plurality of end flaps are each foldably connected to a respective one of the panels. The end flaps are overlapped with one another to enclose an end of the interior space. One of the end flaps is a main bird-feeder flap. A side bird-feeder flap foldably connected to the main bird-feeder flap. The main bird-feeder flap and the side bird-feeder flap are configured to deploy from a closed position cooperating with the plurality of end flaps to enclose the end of the interior space, to an open position with the main bird-feeder flap hinged outward from the interior space to form an opening in the end of the interior space, and with the side bird-feeder flap forming a side of the opening.
VARIABLE DIMENSION POULTRY FEEDER
A feed hopper with two chute members is provided. The chutes are movable with respect to one another and one chute has an extending lip to engage the inner surface of the other chute to prevent feed from escaping the hopper.
Feed trough for poultry farming
A feeding trough for poultry farming includes automatic dispensing of feed from a vertically displaceable horizontal dispensing tube, formed by just three pieces. One of the pieces is a plate formed in one piece with a ring which in a lowered position of the bell-like housing opens a crown of apertures and in a raised position of the bell-like housing closes the crown of apertures so as to reduce the amount of feed transferred to the plate. The feed trough is also configured to facilitate periodic rinsing thereof.
Automatic feeding device for poultry
The application discloses an automatic feeding device for poultry. The automatic feeding device poultry comprises a holding barrel and a feeding port; the holding barrel is provided with an accommodating cavity capable of being used for accommodating feedstuff, and a side surface of the holding barrel is provided with an installing hole, the installing hole is communicated with the accommodating cavity; the feeding port is installed in the installing hole, an input end of the feeding port faces downwards and hangs in the accommodating cavity, and an output end of the feeding port extends outwards out of the holding barrel. By arranging the feeding port, the feedstuff is injected into the accommodating cavity and is automatically squeezed to the output end under the action of gravity when in use, so that the feedstuff is eaten by poultry, and does not need to be scattered on the ground.
Poultry feeding system having walls which delimit or extend through a feeding space at least partly provided with sharp-edged line-elevations
A poultry feeding system includes walls which together delimit a feeding space which at its upper side is accessible for poultry via a feeding opening. A feed supply is provided for supplying feed at an inlet position into the feeding space, such that poultry is able to pick feed out of the feeding space. The walls are at least partly provided with an abrasive surface structure that includes a pattern of a plurality of sharp-edged line-elevations for having beaks of the poultry abraded and worn as they pick feed out of the feeding space.
Poultry feeder including pan means and removably attached drop tube
This invention comprises a poultry feeder assembly (3) for providing access to feed to chicks of small breeds as well as growing and fully grown up birds from the same poultry feeder assembly, provided with a barrier to minimize entry of the chicks inside a feed containing pan (25) of the poultry feeder assembly. The poultry feeder assembly being attachable to a feeder pipe (4) that has spiral auger for automatic conveying of feed from a small hopper (2) to the poultry feeder assembly attached to the pipe, and the pipe is provided with a system for level adjustment or height adjustment from ground or floor of a poultry house; wherein, the pan for holding the feed is separable for cleaning purposes from the tube that conveys feed received from a feeding pipe to the pan.
PEST RESISTANT BIRD FEEDER
Implementations described and claimed herein provide systems and methods for resisting intrusion by a pest. In one implementation, a reservoir extends between a proximal end and a distal end, and the reservoir defines an interior. A basin is mounted to the reservoir. The basin has a basin body and a basin surface. A sleeve assembly has a sleeve body and a port defined in the sleeve body. A tensioner translationally mounts the sleeve body relative to the basin body. The sleeve body translates distally from an accessible position to an occluded position when a weight applied to the sleeve assembly exceeds a weight threshold set by the tensioner. The accessible position includes bird food on the basin surface being accessible through the port. The occluded position includes the port being disposed distal to the basin surface such that the bird food on the basin surface is inaccessible through the port.
Bird Feeding Device
A bird feeding device for automated addition of bird feed to a tray includes a dispensing apparatus and a tray, which are mountable to a support element, such as a post. The dispensing apparatus comprises a hopper, which has a top that is open. A lid is selectively attachable to the hopper to close the top. A chute is attached to the hopper and extends from an aperture that is positioned in a bottom of the hopper. A plate is attached to the hopper and is positioned to selectively close the aperture. An actuator is operationally engaged to the plate and is positioned to reversibly position the plate in an open configuration and a closed configuration. The dispensing apparatus can selectively dispense bird food from the hopper through the chute and onto the tray where it can be consumed by a bird.
