Roller assembly
A roller assembly includes a roller having an axial hole and an axle portion disposed in the axial hole to allow the roller to rotate about the axle portion; a sleeve with a first end disposed at a first end of the axle portion and a second end having a fitting portion, the fitting portion being fitted to a carried object, the sleeve has a first blocking portion positioned proximate to a first side of the roller to allow the roller to rotate between the first blocking portion and the fitting portion, wherein one of the axle portion, the axial hole and the first blocking portion has a substance conducive to reduction of friction between the roller and the sleeve.
METHOD FOR REALIZING MACROSCOPIC SUPER-LUBRICATION BY A MATCHING PAIR OF NANO METAL-COATED STEEL BALLS AND HYDROGEN-CONTAINING CARBON FILMS
The present disclosure discloses a method for realizing macroscopic super-lubrication by a matching pair of nano metal-coated steel balls and hydrogen-containing carbon films, which is based on the use of nano metal-coated steel balls and diamond-like films with a hydrogen content of 25-30% as the matching pair. Further, a tribochemical reaction occurs through the catalytic action of nano metal during the friction process to form a nano graphene transfer film with incommensurate contact at the contact interface to achieve macroscopic super-lubrication.
BEARING SYSTEM
A bearing system including a first member having an outer surface wherein at least a portion of the outer surface includes a plurality of plateaus and a plurality of indentations, a dry-film lubricant at least partially filling at least one of the plurality of indentations, and a second member having a mating surface to the outer surface of the first member wherein the second member configured to move past the first member.
Hybrid bearing assembly with rolling elements and plain bearing
A bearing assembly includes an outer race having an inner surface defining a concave contour and an inner race positioned in the outer race. The inner race has an inner surface defining a bore therethrough and an outer surface defining at least one groove circumscribing the outer surface. A plurality of rolling elements is rollably located in the groove and is in rolling contact with the inner surface of the outer race. A lubricious liner has an inner liner-surface and an exterior liner-surface, the exterior liner-surface being disposed on the inner surface defining the bore. The lubricious liner has a modulus of compression of a magnitude sufficient to allow misalignment of the inner liner-surface relative to the exterior liner-surface in response to a force applied thereto.
ROLLING BEARING
An object of the present invention is to provide a rolling bearing which makes use of a porous rolling element and a selected kind of lubricant to impregnate with; is usable in various conditions; does not discharge foreign objects; and features low dust generation and long life. A rolling bearing includes an outer ring 2; an inner ring 1; and a plurality of rolling elements 3 assembled between mutually opposed outer ring track surface 2a and inner ring track surface 1a. The plurality of rolling elements 3 is provided by a combination of a porous rolling element 3a impregnated with a lubricant and a non-porous rolling element 3b.
Rolling bearing and method for manufacturing rolling bearing
A rolling bearing includes an inner ring, an outer ring, and a plurality of balls interposed between the inner ring and the outer ring. The inner ring and the outer ring are made of stainless steel. A raceway surface with which the ball is in rolling-contact in each of the inner ring and the outer ring and is a superfinished surface and a coating layer made of a solid lubricating film is formed on the superfinished surface.
Self-lubricating rolling bearing and preparation method therefor
A self-lubricating rolling bearing is provided. The chemical compositions in the inner rings and the outer rings of bearing are 3.4-3.7% C, 2.7-2.9% Si, 0.3-0.5% Mn, 0.3-0.5% Cr, ≤0.05% S, ≤0.05% P, 0.03-0.045% Residual Mg, and the remainder Fe. The total percent of the chemical compositions is 100%. The material for the inner and outer rings of the rolling bearing introduced in the invention is austempered ductile iron (ADI). In the microstructure of ADI, the diameter of the graphite nodules is less than 0.02 mm, the number of graphite spheres per square millimeter is more than 400, and the microstructure of the metal matrix in the ADI can be showed clearly only when it is observed on the microscope with a magnification more than 500. Eventually, the self-lubricating rolling bearings are made from the ADI.
