A bearing outer face construction system includes a bearing having a bearing outer race. The bearing outer race includes an outer race surface. At least one circumferential groove is recessed into the bearing outer race. An expanding member is received in the at least one circumferential groove. A housing receives the bearing having a gap between a housing inner face and the bearing outer race. The expanding member expands to radially extend across the gap into direct contact with the housing inner face to mitigate against motion between the bearing and the housing inner face.

A rolling bearing assembly including a rolling bearing provided with a first race having a bore, two front edges and an outer cylindrical surface, and with a second race provided with a bore, two front edges and an outer cylindrical surface. The first and second races rotate relatively about a central axis. The assembly is intended to be mounted in a housing. The assembly provides at least one first annular flange that is secured to the first race and at least partially covers a front edge of the first race, and at least one second annular flange that is secured to the second race and at least partially covers a front edge of the second race. Free ends of the first and second annular flanges are in sliding contact. The difference in dimensions between the housing and the rolling bearing is compensated by the flanges.

A rolling bearing, in particular a ball bearing, is in the form of two bearing rings that are mounted so as to be rotatable relative to each other about an axis. The roller bearing includes an inner ring and an outer ring which each form a guide portion of a guide. The guide portion surrounds the axis with the portion formed by the inner ring is radially opposite the portion formed by the outer ring. In the guide, rolling bodies are distributed around the axis and rest on the two guide portions. When the bearing rings rotate, the rolling bodies roll on the two guide portions. At least one of the rings has a slide ring as the guide portion and a stabilising ring on the slide ring. The slide ring and the stabilising ring are produced from first and second plastics materials, respectively. The first plastics material is softer than the second plastics material.

A thrust bearing that can improve the effect of preventing entry of muddy water etc. The thrust bearing includes: an annular first bearing ring; an annular second bearing ring facing the first bearing ring in an axial direction; a plurality of rolling elements rollably arranged between the first bearing ring and the second bearing ring; an outer seal provided on the second bearing ring, located radially outward of the rolling elements, and sealing a space between the first bearing ring and the second bearing ring; and a cover covering the outer seal from outside in a radial direction.
