Seal air buffer and oil scupper system and method
A turbine engine strut stage extends through a gaspath upstream of a guide vane stage. A carbon seal system seals a bearing compartment and has: a carbon seal mounted to the case and a seal runner on the spool; and a seal carrier carrying the carbon seal. The engine passes buffer air along a buffer air supply path internally through one or more first struts of the stage of struts. The engine drains oil along an oil drain path internally through one or more second struts of the stage of struts.

Sealing device for a wheel hub unit
A sealing device for a wheel hub unit configured to form a static seal to protect the wheel hub unit from environmental contaminants. The sealing device including a metal shield that is coupled to a collar of the wheel hub unit, and has an end wall, a cylindrical lateral wall integral with, and orthogonal to, the end wall. The lateral wall has twice the thickness of the end wall in order to impart stiffness to the metal shield, and a stop edge integral with the cylindrical lateral wall on the opposite side to the end wall, for bearing axially against the collar; a sealing gasket formed by a silicone-based sealing compound being provided to allow the formation of a bead against a cylindrical lateral wall in an assembly configuration of the sealing device.
Robot drive unit and robot
A robot drive unit is provided with: a housing; a shaft body that is relatively rotated with respect to the housing; rotating-body sealing members that is provided in the housing; a contact-surface member that is provided on the shaft body and that contact with the rotating-body sealing members; and a sealing member that seals a gap between the shaft body and the contact-surface member.
WHEEL BEARING
A wheel bearing includes a first seal member disposed between an outer ring and a first outer peripheral surface of a first cylindrical portion of an inner ring and configured to seal between the outer ring and the inner ring; and a second seal member press-fitted to a second cylindrical portion of the inner ring. The second seal member includes a slinger comprising an outer axial end portion spaced apart from the first seal member and a first end surface of the inner ring; a first seal lip coupled to the outer axial end portion of the slinger and comprising a first seal portion in contact with a portion of the first seal member and a second seal portion in contact with a portion of the first cylindrical portion; and a second seal lip coupled to the slinger so as to be spaced apart from the first seal lip.
AXIAL ALIGNMENT ASSEMBLY, AND CHARGED PARTICLE MICROSCOPE COMPRISING SUCH AN ALIGNMENT ASSEMBLY
An axial alignment assembly (100) comprising a first body and a second body. The first body has a substantially cylindrical outer jacket, and has a first alignment axis. The second body comprises a substantially cylindrical inner jacket, and has a second alignment axis. The second body is positioned with respect to said first body in so that said inner jacket faces said outer jacket and in between said inner jacket and said outer jacket a substantially annular recess is formed. The axial alignment assembly further comprises a plurality of resilient elements that are positioned within said annular recess, wherein each resilient element is in contact with said outer jacket of said first body and with said inner jacket of said second body. Each resilient element exerts a force onto said outer jacket and onto said inner jacket for aligning said first alignment axis and said second alignment axis.
HUB BEARING ASSEMBLY FOR DISCS FOR SOIL CULTIVATION
A hub bearing assembly for the rotatable mounting of a soil cultivating disc (D) on a support shaft (A) of an agricultural machine, the assembly being provided with a hub bearing unit which in turn is provided with a flanged outer ring carrying two integral outer raceways for respective rows of rolling bodies, a flange fixed to the flanged outer ring for mounting a disc (D), and, for each outer raceway, an inner ring axially adjacent to the other inner ring, both of which can be engaged by the support shaft (A); and a sealing device mounted on a side of the hub bearing assembly opposite the side of the flange, composed of a first sealing stage and a second sealing stage arranged sequentially along the support shaft (A) and housed in respective seats formed directly in the flanged outer ring.
SEAL FOR LARGE ROLLER BEARING
The invention relates to a seal for a large roller bearing for sealing a joint between two adjacent ring segments or ring parts of the roller bearing, wherein at least two mutually spaced apart sealing limbs of a rubber elastic and/or yielding sealing material for sealing insertion into grooves that are formed at both sides of the joint in ring segments or ring parts that are adjacent to one another and a connection section connecting the sealing limbs and composed of a rubber elastic and/or yielding sealing material to span said joint.
Magnetic liquid sealing device adapted to axial and radial displacements of connection
The present disclosure discloses a magnetic liquid sealing device adapted to axial and radial displacements of connection, which includes: an end cover; a rubber-sealing-ring equipped first clamping plate fixed on the end cover by a first screw and a second screw; a rubber-sealing-ring equipped second clamping plate installed in a groove of the end cover; a fundamental sealing structure fixed on the rubber-sealing-ring equipped second clamping plate by a third screw and a fourth screw, so as to be isolated from the end cover by the rubber-sealing-ring equipped first clamping plate and the rubber-sealing-ring equipped second clamping plate. The device isolates the connected component from the magnetic liquid sealing structure by the two clamping plates, such that the axial and radial deformations and displacements of the connected component will not be loaded on parts in magnetic liquid sealing structure, prolonging the service life of the magnetic liquid sealing.
ROLLING-ELEMENT BEARING
An axially supporting rolling-element bearing of a rolling mill shaft includes an inner ring having a raceway, an outer ring having a raceway and a plurality of rolling elements on the raceways between the rings. An outer surface of the outer ring includes an opening such as a groove that faces radially outward and contains a seal element. The seal element includes a seal lip that extends out of the groove. When the rolling element bearing is placed in a bore of a housing, the outer ring is spaced from the bore by the seal element.
