System for securing together by means of press-fitting a casing and a cover of a housing element
A housing element for applications in the manufacturing industry having a casing and a cover both made of metallic material, wherein the casing is provided with a groove and a flat mounting surface and the cover is provided with an end portion having a frustoconical side wall, an oblique annular bottom wall, and a securing system consisting in inserting the end portion of the cover inside the groove of the casing, wherein an interference (i) between a radially outer end of the end portion of the cover and a radially inner end of the flat mounting surface of the casing assumes values of between 0.2 mm and 0.5 mm and an angle (δ) defined between the frustoconical side wall of the end portion of the cover and the flat mounting surface of the casing assumes values of between 45° and 80°. The interference and the angle facilitate the insertion of the end portion of the cover inside the groove of the casing.
Casing reinforced with ribs for food applications
A casing of a bearing unit for food applications may include a base having at least one hole for housing at least one fixing bolts, a spherical seat for housing the bearing unit, and at least one reinforcement rib located between the hole and the spherical seat.
SEALING DEVICE FOR PILLOW BLOCKS
A pillow block bearing seal for sealing the shaft opening around the shaft of a pillow block, having a stator assembly, a rotor, and a resilient cylinder sleeve. The stator assembly has a cylindrical base having an axial length that is configured to accept the shaft passing there through, and a stator extending annularly from an axial end of the cylindrical base. The rotor is configured to attach to and rotate with a rotatable shaft, and has an axially inward-facing surface that confronts the axially outward-facing surface of the stator to define labyrinth interface passage. The resilient cylindrical sleeve is fixed to an outer surface of the cylindrical base for contact with a pair of annular ribs of the bearing housing, for stabilizing the alignment of the center line of the shaft with the bearing housing.
Axially mounted bearing housing and a wind turbine with the axially mounted bearing housing
A bearing housing for use in a wind turbine is provided. Further, the bearing housing is axially coupled to a base support structure using plurality of fastening points on the bearing housing. The bearing housing may be coupled to the base support structure at multiple points so that the load is distributed evenly to the support structures such as base plate and the tower. The bearing housing is coupled to the base support structure using a fastener. The horizontal central axis of the bearing housing coincides with the horizontal central axis of the base support structure.
SPLIT PLUMMER BLOCK BEARING HOUSING
A split plummer block bearing housing for a rotatable shaft includes a detachable housing cap, which includes at least one housing grease channel, and at least one seal assembly. The seal assembly includes a stationary part, which has a seal grease channel and is mounted on the housing, and a rotating part that is configured to be mounted on the shaft. The stationary part and the rotating part are configured to cooperate with each other as a labyrinth and/or contacting seal, and the housing grease channel and the seal grease channel connect and form an extension of each other.
PLUMMER BLOCK
A plummer block includes a bearing and a bearing housing that accommodates and supports the bearing. The bearing housing includes an upper housing portion and a lower housing portion that is separate from the upper housing portion. The upper housing portion has a first surface facing downward. The lower housing portion has a second surface facing upward. The first surface has: a contact region in contact with the second surface; and a first protruding region protruding from the contact region at least outward in a radial direction of the bearing when viewed in the up-down direction.
Load sensing bearing with integrated sensor module
A bearing assembly may include an integral sensor module retained within a bore in the bearing housing. The sensor module includes at least one strain gauge oriented to sense a compressive load acting on the bearing housing. The sensor module may be retained within the bore under an axial compressive load. The sensor module may include a power source and a wired or wireless communications module for transmitting information indicative of the compressive load to an external instrument or other system.
ALL-TERRAIN VEHICLE
An all-terrain vehicle includes a frame; a cab located in the middle of the frame; a front axle located in front of the cab; a power assembly located behind the cab; and a transmission structure coupled to the front axle and the power assembly, and comprising a front transmission shaft, a rear transmission shaft, and an intermediate transmission component, the intermediate transmission component having a first end coupled to the front transmission shaft and a second end coupled to the rear transmission shaft; an end, away from the intermediate transmission component, of the front transmission shaft being coupled to the front axle, and an end, away from the intermediate transmission component, of the rear transmission shaft being coupled to the power assembly; and a connection point between the intermediate transmission component and the front transmission shaft being located in front of the cab.
BEARING BLOCK UNIT AND USE THEREOF
A bearing block unit for supporting a continuous casting roll, including a bearing block and a roller bearing disposed inside the bearing block. The bearing provides an inner ring raceway, an outer ring raceway, and at least one row of rolling bodies disposed between the inner and outer ring raceways. The inner ring raceway is formed by a complete and continuous independent inner ring. The inner ring is fitted on a roll shaft of the continuous casting roll during installation, for the purpose of supporting the continuous casting roll. The outer ring raceway is at least partially formed by processing of an inner surface of an inner hole of the bearing block. The present invention also relates to a continuous casting roll line and a continuous casting machine using the bearing block unit.
Bearing assembly including a retaining ring and driveshaft assembly including a retaining ring
A bearing assembly can support a rotating shaft on a vehicle structure and can include a rolling element bearing that has an inner race configured to be press fit on the rotating shaft. An outer race can surround the inner race and be configured to be mounted on the vehicle structure. A plurality of rolling elements can be located between the inner race and the outer race. A retaining ring can be configured to be press fit on the rotating shaft and abut the inner race when the rolling element bearing and the retaining ring are press fit on the rotating shaft. The press fit between the retaining ring and the rotating shaft can contribute to the press fit between the inner race and the rotating shaft such that the retaining ring and the rolling element bearing together distribute a load input by the rotating shaft to the vehicle structure.
