MOUNTING DEVICE
An apparatus is provided for connecting a rotary shaft to a rotatable machine element. The apparatus includes and inner sleeve for clamping onto the shaft and an outer sleeve for clamping onto the machine element. The inner and outer sleeves have cooperating tapered surfaces for tightening the apparatus. The cooperating tapered surfaces include striations. A nut connected with the inner and outer sleeves is rotatable to drive the inner sleeve relative to the outer sleeve in a first direction to tighten the inner sleeve onto the shaft and the outer sleeve onto the machine element. A method is also provided for forming a mounting device for connecting a machine element with a rotary shaft.
Pump shaft for a multi-stage pump
A pump shaft for a multi-stage pump, in particular a centrifugal pump, includes a peripheral groove region for the engagement of a relief device in order to introduce a force acting in the axial direction of the pump shaft. The groove region includes a plurality of grooves which are spaced apart in the axial direction.

Rigid flange coupling and associated internal connection assembly
This invention concerns a partially discontinuous inner sleeve for use in a rigid flange coupling. The partially discontinuous sleeve has an internal cylindrical passage for, in use, receiving an end of a shaft. The partially discontinuous sleeve further has at least two partial discontinuities along the length of the sleeve in the form of two discrete axial slits in the sleeve. These slits are displaced from each other to form a connecting formation between them. The invention further concerns an internal connection assembly including the partially discontinuous in the sleeve, and a rigid flange coupling including such internal connection assembly.

Hydraulic coupling device
A hydraulic coupling device includes an inner sleeve having a tapered outer surface, an outer sleeve having a tapered inner surface mounted on the tapered outer surface of the inner sleeve, a nut screwed onto the inner sleeve and a cylinder formed separately from the outer sleeve and secured to the outer sleeve. At least a portion of the nut extends into the cylinder, and the inner sleeve, the cylinder, the nut and the outer sleeve together delimit a chamber.
