The axial movement joint further includes an axial boot cover coupled on a first end to the first shaft and on a second end to the second shaft that accommodates axial movement of the first shaft relative to the second shaft. The first constant velocity (CV) joint is coupled to provide torsional input received at an input to the first shaft, the first CV joint having a first CV boot cover. The second CV joint coupled to provide torsional output received from the second shaft to an output, the second CV joint having a second CV boot cover.
BALL SPLINE DEVICE, AUTOMATED GUIDED VEHICLE AND STEREOSCOPIC WAREHOUSE SYSTEM
The present disclosure relates to a ball spline device, an automated guided vehicle and a stereoscopic warehouse system. The ball spline device includes: a spline shaft, an outer side wall of which is provided with a raceway groove extending along an axial direction, the raceway groove includes a first groove section and a second groove section communicated along the axial direction, a width of the second groove section being greater than the width of the first groove section; a spline nut coaxially, sleeved outside the spline shaft; and a first rolling body, movably disposed in the raceway groove along the axial direction to achieve relative movement of the spline nut and the spline shaft. When the spline nut is in a first position, the first rolling body is in the first groove section, and cooperates with the first groove section in a constrained manner to cause synchronous rotation of the spline nut and the spline shaft; and when the spline nut is in a second position, the first rolling body is in the second groove section, so that there is a predetermined gap in a circumferential direction between the spline shaft and the spline nut.
Axial plunging half-shaft assembly
A half-shaft assembly includes a first constant velocity (CV) joint, a second CV joint and an axial movement joint connected between the first CV joint and the second CV joint. The axial movement joint includes a first shaft coupled to the first CV joint and a second shaft coupled to the second CV joint, wherein mechanical input received on the first shaft is communicated to the second shaft, and wherein the second shaft slides axially within the first shaft.
Torque transmission device with reduced friction
A turbomachine includes a low-pressure shaft that drives a fan shaft in rotation by a coupling assembly including a first shaft on which are formed plural first axial grooves, a second shaft on which are formed plural second axial grooves, and a coupling device including rolling elements and an annular cage positioned between the first shaft and the second shaft. The rolling elements are positioned between one of the first axial grooves and one of the second axial grooves to couple in rotation the first and the second shaft. Each first and second groove has a first and a second substantially planar surface inclined with respect to one another and extending along the axis.
Shaft minimizing ellipticalization strain error
A shaft characterized by its length to diameter ratio being less than about 1.75 having a drive connection at one end where the wall thickness of the shaft is selected to be thick enough to avoid ellipticalization strain error in torsional measurement of less than 5%. One specific application is for a crankset spindle that can be used to measure a cyclist right, left, and total leg torque.
Steering shaft assembly and method of assembling same
A steering shaft assembly comprising female shaft and a male shaft. The female shaft includes an inner surface defining a plurality of outer roller bearing tracks. The male shaft includes an outer surface defining a plurality of inner roller bearing tracks. An adaptable sleeve assembly is located between the inner surface of the female shaft and the outer surface of the male shaft and includes a body. The body defines an outer surface for contacting the inner surface of the female shaft and an inner surface for contacting the outer surface of the male shaft. The body defines at least one rib projecting radially outwardly from the outer surface of the body and projecting radially inwardly from the inner surface of the body. The at least one rib is inserted into one of the plurality of inner roller bearing tracks and one of the plurality of outer roller bearing tracks.
