The nut includes: a nut body having a screw groove in an inner surface thereof; and a recirculation component provided at an end portion of the nut body in an axial direction, the recirculation component having a turn-around path for recirculating a second rolling element rolling along a screw groove. A pulley to be mounted on the nut is fitted on an outer surface of the nut body, and is brought into contact with an end surface of the nut in the axial direction. The pulley is mounted on the end surface of the nut with a fastening member.

Plastic sleeve on support bearing

A sleeve is provided on a seal seat of a bearing ring, for example an outer bearing ring of a propshaft bearing. The sleeve receives a bearing seal in an interference fit.

STEERING COLUMN FOR A MOTOR VEHICLE

A steering column is disclosed for a motor vehicle, including an actuating unit, in which a steering spindle is rotatably mounted about a longitudinal axis. The actuating unit includes a casing unit which has at least three casing tubes which are arranged so as to be axially telescopable relative to one another. One of the casing tubes forms an outer casing tube in which at least one intermediate casing tube, in which an inner casing tube is accommodated, is accommodated. Rolling bodies are arranged between the casing tubes such that they are able to roll in the axial direction. First rolling bodies are arranged between the outer casing tube and the intermediate casing tube, and second rolling bodies are arranged between the intermediate casing tube and the inner casing tube, the first rolling bodies being arranged offset in the circumferential direction relative to the second rolling bodies.

Intermediate steering shaft for a motor vehicle, and method for operating an intermediate steering shaft for a motor vehicle

An intermediate steering shaft for a motor vehicle includes an elastic element arranged and formed (i) at least partially in a first recess and second recess formed in a receiving section of a profile shaft, and (ii) at least partially in a recess formed in a first guide rail and a recess formed in a second guide rail, in order to apply a pretension to a respective guide arrangement.

A steering shaft for a vehicle includes a hollow outer shaft arranged telescopically and coaxially about an inner shaft and connected in a torque-transmitting manner via at least one rolling body. The rolling body bears against the inner shaft and the outer shaft in a positively locking manner in the circumferential direction with regard to a rotation about the longitudinal axis. The steering shaft includes a securing element fixed on the outer shaft and a torque-transmitting coupling section via which the inner shaft and the outer shaft are connected. For an improved redundant transmission of torque in the case of the failure of rolling bodies, the coupling section has at least one transmission body which engages in a loose positively locking connection with regard to a rotation about the longitudinal axis between the rolling body raceways of the inner shaft and the outer shaft.

A portion of the target guide plate interposed between the rolling surface of each ball and an inner surface of the sub-concave groove is supported at the other radial surface opposite to the rolling surface of each ball by the inner surface of the sub-concave groove at a state where one radial surface facing towards the rolling surface of each ball is pressed by the rolling surface of each ball and is thus curved along the rolling surface of each ball.

STEERING SHAFT FOR A MOTOR VEHICLE

A steering shaft for a motor vehicle includes a hollow shaft and an inner shaft which is arranged coaxially in the hollow shaft. The inner shaft is configured to be telescoped relative to the hollow shaft in the direction of the longitudinal axis of the steering shaft and is connected in a torque-transmitting manner to the hollow shaft via at least one rolling body. The rolling body is received in a rolling body cage such that it can roll in the direction of the longitudinal axis between the inner shaft and the hollow shaft. In order to achieve a high operational reliability with a relatively low manufacturing complexity, the rolling body cage has at least one seal element which bears sealingly against the hollow shaft and/or the inner shaft.

COUPLING DEVICE BETWEEN TWO COAXIAL SHAFTS, IN PARTICULAR FOR A STEERING COLUMN OF A MOTOR VEHICLE

A coupling device includes two coaxial shafts, namely a tubular outer shaft and an inner shaft, capable of rotating about a reference axis; a wrap-around raceway formed on a first one of the coaxial shafts; an oblique raceway formed on the second coaxial shaft and a play take-up rail provided with a complementary raceway and movable relative to the second coaxial shaft parallel to a plane perpendicular to the reference axis. A row of balls is positioned to run parallel to the reference axis on the wrap-around raceway, the oblique raceway and the complementary raceway, to guide the two coaxial shafts relative to each other in translation.
