Control system for hybrid vehicle
A control system of a hybrid vehicle, in which a driving power source for travel includes an engine that is started by cranking, a motor that can control a torque, and a clutch that is coupled with the motor and in which a transmission torque capacity continuously changes depending on a change of a control amount is configured to estimate a torque of the clutch based on the torque that the motor outputs, and change rates of the rotational speed of the motor and the clutch caused by changing the control amount, when the torque that the motor outputs is transmitted by the clutch that is in a slip state by changing the control amount.
System and method to reduce transfer clutch overheating
A system and method for controlling a torque transfer clutch of a vehicle. A first data source indicates if the clutch is in AWD or 4×4 mode. An integrator system monitors energy transferred across the clutch. A temperature data source measures or calculates the clutch temperature. In a first case, the integrator accumulates data of the energy across the clutch during a monitoring period that is compared to a maximum accumulated energy value and initiates a powertrain torque dependent transfer point learn routine. In a second case, the controller responds to energy accumulator cycle data in a single monitoring cycle that is compared to a maximum cycle data value. In a third case, the controller responds to clutch temperature data and compares the temperature data to a maximum temperature value. The second and third cases initiate a non-powertrain torque dependent transfer point learn routine.
METHOD FOR OPERATING A DRIVE APPARATUS AND CORRESPONDING DRIVE APPARATUS
A method for operating a drive apparatus including an internal combustion engine and an electric engine. An output shaft of the drive apparatus can be operatively connected to the internal combustion engine by way of a shifting clutch and can be permanently operatively connected to the electric engine, so that the output shaft is disengaged from the internal combustion engine in a first shifting state of the shifting clutch and is engaged with it in a second shifting state.
METHOD FOR CHECKING THE ACTUATING ACCURACY OF A CLUTCH WHEN AN ELECTRIC OR HYBRID MOTOR VEHICLE IS AT A STANDSTILL
Methods are provided for checking the actuating accuracy of a clutch arranged in a force flow between a fixable shaft and an electric machine of an electric or hybrid motor vehicle when at a standstill. One method includes: fixing the shaft, setting a defined setpoint torque on the clutch to be checked, continuously ramping up the electric machine up until the first slipping of the clutch, comparing the achieved torque of the electric machine with the setpoint torque preset on the clutch. Another method includes: fixing the shaft, ramping up the electric machine to a defined rotational speed, setting a defined setpoint torque on the clutch to be checked, comparing the torque of the electric machine needed to maintain a constant rotational speed with the setpoint torque set on the clutch.
Device for controlling hybrid vehicle
A control device of a hybrid vehicle including an engine, an electric motor coupled to a power transmission path between the engine and drive wheels, and a clutch connecting/disconnecting a power transmission path between the engine and both the electric motor and the drive wheels, the control device performing detection of air-fuel ratio variation between cylinders of the engine, the control device changing an operation state of the clutch based on a request drive force of the vehicle, and the control device performing the detection of air-fuel ratio variation when the clutch is in an open state or a slip amount of the clutch is equal to or larger than a preset value.
Apparatus and method for learning clutch torque of dual clutch transmission
An apparatus and method of using the apparatus for learning a clutch torque of a Dual Clutch Transmission (DCT) includes judging whether shifting begins, controlling torque transmission of a coupling-side clutch and a release-side clutch to cross each other while following a coupling-side target clutch torque when shifting begins, and calculating and storing a learning value, after the controlling has begun, using a function determined by the relationship between an average value of an engine angular acceleration and a coupling-side shifter input-shaft angular acceleration, engine rotation inertia, and a torque compensated to the torque transmission of the coupling-side clutch for reducing a slippage of the release-side clutch by feedback control during a torque handover interval.
METHOD FOR ADJUSTING A FRICTION COEFFICIENT OF AN AUTOMATED CLUTCH
The invention relates to a method for adjusting a friction coefficient of an automated clutch, wherein a current friction coefficient (RK) is determined by a comparison with a moment of the internal combustion engine during a slipping phase of the clutch. In a method, in which the adaptation over the entire operation of the motor vehicle is possible, the current friction coefficient (RK) is pilot-controlled to a long-term friction coefficient (RL) in a non-slipping phase of the clutch and/or in the event of a torque signal that cannot be monitored.
ADAPTIVE CONTROL DEVICE FOR VEHICLE STARTING CLUTCH
An adaptive control device is provided for a vehicle starting clutch. The adaptive control device includes a reverse brake as the starting clutch, and a clutch adaptive controller. The reverse brake is interposed between an engine and motor/generator, and the left and right rear wheels and is slip-engaged at a time of starting. The clutch adaptive controller performs clutch adaptive control, in which the reverse brake is subjected to a state in which a temperature of the reverse brake is at, or above, a second threshold for a timed period, at least one time before a vehicle begins to move.
Launch control method for vehicle
A launch control method for a vehicle may include a step of increasing clutch torque of a clutch according to a decrease in braking pressure, a step of maintaining a current level of the clutch torque for a first reference duration, a step of gradually reducing the clutch torque within a range which is lower than the first reference torque level and is equal to or greater than a second reference torque level which is lower than the first reference torque level, a step of gradually increasing the clutch torque until the clutch torque reaches a third reference torque level which is higher than the first reference torque level, and a step of bringing the control to a stop when a state in which a clutch slip is less than a predetermined critical synchronous slip is maintained for a predetermined critical synchronization duration or longer than the predetermined critical synchronization duration.
Method for operating a clutch of a drivetrain for a motor vehicle and motor vehicle having a drivetrain
A method for operating a clutch of a drivetrain for a motor vehicle, in which at least one micro-slip of the clutch is adjusted in a targeted manner by means of an electronic computing device of the drivetrain, whereby the clutch is operated with the micro-slip during at least one operating phase, wherein an overpressing of the clutch is adjusted in a targeted manner by means of the electronic computing device), whereby the clutch is operated slip-free during at least one second operating phase that is different from the at least one operating phase.
