A control method for a work vehicle, includes: acquiring a signal for changing a state of a traveling device, to which power is transmitted via a transmission and a clutch, between forward, neutral, and reverse states; outputting a command for reducing a torque of an output shaft connected to the traveling device in a state where a first clutch is engaged, before a specified time elapses from a time point at which the signal for changing to the neutral state is acquired in a state where the first clutch is engaged; outputting a command for releasing the first clutch after the specified time elapses; and outputting a command for controlling the transmission so that a rotation speed of an input-side element of a second clutch to be engaged next coincides with that of an output-side element of the second clutch in a state where the first clutch is released.

Method for determining a kiss point of a clutch

Method for determining a kisspoint of a clutch. A method is provided of determining a kisspoint of a clutch in a driveline of a vehicle comprising a. increasing a target clutch pressure of a clutch piston up to a first predetermined test target pressure, b. increasing the target clutch pressure up to an upper target pressure and subsequently keeping the target clutch pressure stable for a predetermined time interval, c. monitoring a parameter indicative for the filling of the clutch piston, e.g. the rotational speed of a pump, during the predetermined time interval, d. repeating steps a., b., and c. for at least one further predetermined test target pressure, and e. determining the kisspoint based on the monitored parameter indicative for the filling of the clutch piston.

Electrohydraulic transmission clutch of a motor vehicle
11326657 · 2022-05-10 · ·

A method for operating an electrohydraulic transmission clutch of a motor vehicle, wherein, for a clutch operation, a hydraulic pressure is set by way of a regulating device of a controller as a function of a clutch signal, and, through the pressure, a disengagement element of the transmission clutch is moved through a soft region into a rigid region via a rigid point, or vice versa. The soft region is to be compensated for. Further, as a function of the clutch signal, the regulating device generates a preliminary target value signal for the pressure and a time derivative of the preliminary target value signal is generated as a movement signal, and a pilot control generates a pilot control signal as a function of the movement signal, and the preliminary target value signal and the pilot control signal are combined to give a final actuating value signal for the pressure.

Method for monitoring the functions of a friction clutch

A method is disclosed for monitoring the functions of a friction clutch which is arranged in a vehicle between a drive motor and a compressor of a compressed air supply system and which can be disengaged and engaged pneumatically. In a delivery mode of the compressor, at least one operating parameter is detected by sensor and evaluated in an electronic control unit. When a slipping condition of the friction clutch is identified, a value for a cut-off pressure of the compressor stored in the electronic control unit is reduced. When a slipping condition has been identified, the delivery mode of the compressor is ended by disengagement of the friction clutch, and a warning signal and/or warning information is outputted.

Method for operating a motor vehicle comprising a power take-off unit
11718301 · 2023-08-08 · ·

A method of operating a motor vehicle. A request for coupling a power take-off is detected. It is checked (12) whether relevant boundary conditions for coupling the power take-off are fulfilled. If the boundary conditions are fulfilled, a system pressure for actuating the power take-off clutch is built up (16). It is checked (18) whether sufficient system pressure to actuate the power take-off clutch has been built up. When sufficient system pressure has sufficiently been built up, a confirmation signal is produced (20). In reaction to the confirmation signal, a driving transmission control unit is modified (34) in order to actuate the at least one shifting element of the driving transmission with a higher actuation pressure than with an unmodified driving transmission control unit.

CLUTCH BURNISHING

Technologies for enhancing performance of a clutch that is installed in connection with a transport climate control system is provided. Enhancing performance of the clutch can be performed by establishing engagement cycling parameters for the clutch, cycling the clutch through a repetition of engagement and disengagement in accordance with the established engagement cycling parameters, and terminating the cycling upon achievement of at least one predetermined criterion.
