SUSPENSION ARM BUSHING
A suspension arm bushing provided in a vehicle includes coils. First magnetic viscoelastic elastomers are arranged at both ends in an axial direction of a housing, respectively, to sandwich the coils. A second magnetic viscoelastic elastomer is arranged in the housing so as to be sandwiched between the coils. A controller selectively switches directions of magnetic fields generated by the coils between the same direction and opposite directions.
Motor mount and damper
A system having a damper with six or more indentations on alternating sides of the damper, where each indentation is open to an outer circumferential surface of the damper and extends over halfway through a width of the damper, and six or more slots, each slot open to an undulating inner circumferential surface of the damper and extending through the width of the damper.
TUBULAR ANTIVIBRATION DEVICE
A tubular antivibration device includes an inner axial member and an outer tubular member that are joined by an elastic rubber main body. The inner axial member is provided with a pair of groove-shaped recesses that open on the outer peripheral surface on both sides in the lateral direction and extend in the vertical direction, and the elastic rubber main body is integrally provided with a pair of upper and lower first elastic joining parts that join the vertically opposing surfaces of the inner axial member and the outer tubular member to each other on both sides in the vertical direction and a pair of left and right second elastic joining parts that join the vertically opposing surfaces of the outer tubular member to each other through the pair of groove-shaped recesses of the inner axial member.
Two-piece vertical control arm bushing
A bushing, for use with a control arm, has first and second mating segments that can be mated and assembled to form a central portion to be received within a circular opening in the control arm and the central portion has an outer diameter corresponding to the diameter of the circular opening. Each segment includes a cap or head portion having a diameter dimensioned to abut against one of the surfaces of the control arm and has a central bore. A bushing sleeve has a length equal to a axial length of the assembled bushing and an outer diameter incrementally greater than the diameter of the central bore so that the sleeve can be press fit within the bore to immobilize the segments when they are in contact with the control arm and become resistant to separation.
SYSTEM CONSISTING OF A FLEXIBLE OUTER BEARING SLEEVE OF AN ELASTOMER BEARING AND A BEARING TUBE
A system of a flexible outer bearing sleeve of an elastomer bearing and a bearing tube, wherein the outer bearing sleeve and the bearing tube are specified so that the outer bearing sleeve is press-fitted in the bearing tube along a press-fitting direction to establish a form-fitting interconnection between the outer bearing sleeve and the bearing tube, wherein the outer bearing sleeve has an external profile having outward-projecting shoulders and introduction ramps running inward in the press-fitting direction, and wherein the bearing tube for the form-fitting interconnection between the outer bearing sleeve and the bearing tube has an internal profile communicating form-fittingly with the external profile of the outer bearing sleeve.
FASTENING ARRANGEMENT WITH DAMPING EFFECT AND COMPONENT CONNECTION TO THE FASTENING ARRANGEMENT
A fastening arrangement with damping effect, consisting of two structurally identical fastening units each having a central first through opening. Each fastening unit comprises a mounting element and a damping element. The mounting element is disc-shaped with a central second through opening and an identical detent structure extends from a first side of each mounting element. The damping element is disc-shaped with a central third through opening and is arranged at last partially in the central second through opening of the mounting element. Due to this construction the two fastening units can be fastened to one another by means of the mutually facing first sides having the identical detent structure of the respective mounting elements with first component arranged between them.
Passive-intermodulation-mitigating mounting assembly
A passive-intermodulation-mitigating mounting assembly for a fixture, such as can be affixed to a utility or communications monopole can include a first bracket and a second bracket respectively defining a first through hole and a second through hole. In some examples, a mounting plate supports an antenna or a radio. A fastener can extend through the first through hole and the second through hole, for instance to couple the first bracket with the second bracket to attach the mounting assembly to a fixture. The passive-intermodulation-mitigating mounting assembly can include a bushing that can be inserted into a through hole, and the bushing can physically and electrically isolate the fastener from one or more of the brackets. The isolation of the bushing helps inhibit the passive-intermodulation of the mounting assembly when the fastener extends, via the first bushing, through at least one of the through holes.
Articulating element for filtering and damping vibrations and articulating device
The invention relates to an articulation (1) for damping vibrations between an inner mechanical element and an outer mechanical element, comprising a rigid inner reinforcement (2), a rigid outer reinforcement (3), and a ring (4) made of at least one vibration damping elastomer material, which ring radially extends around the axial direction (X) between the inner reinforcement (2) and the outer reinforcement (3). The invention is characterized in that the first side flank (41) of the ring (4) comprises a first ring portion (51, 52) defined by a first surface (411, 412) and a second ring portion (53, 54) defined by a second surface (413, 414), which are diametrically opposed in relation to the axial direction (X) and which have, in the axial direction (X), respectively a first axial elevation (X1, X2) and a second axial elevation (X3, X4), which is higher than the first axial elevation (X1, X2).
VIBRATION ISOLATOR
A vibration isolator according to the present invention includes: an annular main body that is made of an annular elastic member, arranged surrounding at least part of a component housed inside a handlebar, and housed inside the handlebar together with the component; a plurality of protrusions that are formed on an outer peripheral surface of the annular main body, protruding so as to abut on an inner surface of the handlebar; and a plurality of recesses that are formed on an inner peripheral surface of the annular main body, recessed toward the outer peripheral surface.
Preloaded elastomeric bushing
A compressible bushing includes an end having a first outer diameter. The compressible bushing also includes a bumper section having a second outer diameter greater than or equal to the first outer diameter and may include of a compressible material. The compressible bushing also includes an opening passing through the end and the bumper section, the opening having an inner diameter.
