Air spring comprising adsorptive material
An air spring system comprising at least one air spring with at least one compressed air chamber with a variable volume. The at least one air spring is connected to a compressor unit as a compressed air supply device with a compressed air storage device. A compressed air space of at least one of the air spring or the compressed air storage device is provided with an adsorptive material.
End member assemblies as well as gas spring assemblies and suspension systems including same
End member assemblies are dimensioned for securement to an end of a flexible spring member for forming gas spring assemblies. An end member assembly can include an end member body and at least one connector fitting. The end member body includes a base section and a cap section that are secured together at a single flowed-material joint. The base section and the cap section together at least partially define a reservoir chamber within the end member body. The at least one connector fitting is at least partially embedded within the end member body. Gas spring assemblies including at least one end member assembly and suspension systems including at least one gas spring assembly are also included.
Article, Particularly an Air Spring Bellows, a Metal-Rubber Element, or a Vibration Damper
The invention relates to an article (1) having a main body composed of a polymeric material having elastic properties, in particular an air spring bellows (1), a metal-rubber element or a vibration damper.
In order to improve its fire-retardant and/or flame-retardant properties, the article has been provided partially or completely with a flock (9).
Pneumatic structure and associated production method
The structure (10) comprises an elastically deformable body (12) defining at least one network of internal cavities (14), each internal cavity (14) having a closed contour in at least one section of the internal cavity (14). Each internal cavity (14) is able to be pressurized so as to make the elastically deformable body (12) pass from a rest configuration to at least one pressurized configuration. In each pressurized configuration, the elastically deformable body (12) has a macroscopic metric that is distinct from its macroscopic metric in the rest position. In each pressurized configuration, the radius of curvature of an outer surface of the elastically deformable body (12), considered regarding each internal cavity (14) adjacent to the outer surface, is greater than twice the size of the internal cavity (14) adjacent to the outer surface.
DIAPHRAGM DAMPER DEVICE COILED WAVE SPRING AND DAMPER SYSTEM
A coiled wave spring used by a diaphragm damper device and arranged in a fuel chamber defined by a housing and a cover is provided. The coiled wave spring is configured to be arranged between a diaphragm damper of the diaphragm damper device and the cover. The coiled wave spring is configured to fix the diaphragm damper to the housing with its elastic force. The coiled wave spring includes a coil portion, a winding initiation portion, and a winding termination portion. The winding initiation portion and the winding termination portion form flat seat windings. The seat windings each have a larger outer diameter than the coil portion. One of the seat windings is configured to be fixed to the diaphragm damper.
Process for preparing blends of cis-1,4-polybutadiene and syndiotactic 1,2-polybutadiene
A process for preparing a blend of cis-1,4-polybutadiene and syndiotactic 1,2 polybutadiene, the process comprising the steps of (i) polymerizing 1,3-butadiene in the presence of a lanthanide-based catalyst to form a polymerization mixture including cis-1,4-polybutadiene, and (ii) polymerizing 1,3-butadiene in the presence of a cobalt-based catalyst within the polymerization mixture including cis-1,4-polybutadiene to form syndiotactic 1,2-polybutadiene and thereby produce a blend of cis-1,4-polybutadiene and syndiotactic 1,2-polybutadiene.
Bellows suspension unit
The auxiliary suspension device is relatively neutral at rest and responds in coordination with the existing suspension system upon application of a load. The redundant suspension device has an inflatable bellow that is mounted between a vehicle's frame and an existing vehicle suspension element.
Air springs with improved high temperature performance
An air spring bellow comprising a vulcanized rubber component including the at least partially vulcanized residue of EPDM and a rubber other than EPDM.
NONLINEAR AUXILIARY SPRING, NEW-BELTED DIAPHRAGM AND AIR SPRING
Provided are an auxiliary spring, a new-belted diaphragm and an air spring. The air spring comprises an auxiliary spring and a new-belted diaphragm arranged above the auxiliary spring, the auxiliary spring comprises a rim (1), which has a reversed convex structure and has a downward support column on a bottom surface thereof; a rubber piece (2), a center of which has a concave hole for enclosing the whole support column and a top of which contacts with a concave bottom surface of the rim (1); and a base plate (3); the new-belted diaphragm comprises a top cover (41) and a diaphragm body (42) that has a hollow structure and is installed below the top cover (41); a top of the diaphragm body (42) is an annular opening and is connected with the top cover (41), and a middle vertical portion thereof is a girdle portion.
END MEMBER ASSEMBLIES AS WELL AS GAS SPRING ASSEMBLIES AND SUSPENSION SYSTEMS INCLUDING SAME
End member assemblies that are dimensioned for use in forming a gas spring assembly can include an end structure that is dimensioned for securement to a flexible spring member to at least partially form the gas spring assembly. The end member assemblies can also include a compliant support structure that is operatively connected to the end structure to support the end structure in spaced relation to an associated structural component. The compliant support structure can include a base compliant element assembled together with a plurality of upper compliant elements that are different from the base compliant element but substantially identical to one another. Gas spring assemblies and suspension systems are also included.
