A dual-bearing reel includes a reel body, a spool shaft, a pinion gear, a collar member, a bearing, and a sealing member. The reel body includes a bearing housing. The pinion gear is rotatable about the spool shaft. The collar member is mounted on an outer peripheral surface of the pinion gear. The collar member has a large-diameter portion disposed adjacent to a tooth portion of the pinion gear in a shaft direction, and a small-diameter portion having a diameter smaller than the outer diameter of the large-diameter portion. The bearing is housed in the bearing housing and rotatably supports the pinion gear using the collar member. The sealing member is an annular member disposed in contact with the inner peripheral surface of the bearing housing and the outer peripheral surface of the large-diameter portion of the collar member.

FISHING REEL

A fishing reel includes a support member, a supported member, and a seal member. The support member includes a support hole. The supported member includes a supported portion that is disposed inside the support hole, and an inclined portion that is disposed outside the support hole and is formed so that an outer diameter decreases toward the support hole. The seal member is elastically deformable. The seal member is disposed in contact with an end face around the support hole and an outer peripheral surface of the inclined portion.

Dual-bearing reel

A dual-bearing reel is provided that basically includes a reel main body, a spool, a clutch operating member and a first barrier portion. The reel main body has a first side plate and a second side plate. The second side plate is disposed at a distance from the first side plate in an axial direction. The clutch operating member is movably supported on the reel main body in a vertical direction between the first side plate and the second side plate behind the spool. The clutch operating member switches between a transmitting and disconnecting of a rotational force to the spool. The first barrier portion is provided on one of the clutch operating member and the reel main body. The first barrier portion prevents the fishing line from entering between the clutch operating member and the first side plate of the reel main body.

A handle assembly for a fishing rod and reel assembly. The handle assembly includes a handle body extending from a first end to a second end along a first central axis. The handle body defines a gripping area and a reel seat. A motor actuation button is defined along the handle body. A motor mount is connected to the handle body and extends along a second central axis from a generally closed end to a second end defining an opening. A motor is positioned in the motor mount such that a rotating connector extends from the opening in the motor mount. A rotating drive mechanism is connected at a first end to the rotating connector and has a second end configured for connection to a spool shaft of a reel which is configured for connection to the handle body reel seat. A power source is electrically connected with the motor actuation button and the motor. Pressing of the motor actuation button causes the motor to rotate which in turn causes the second end of the rotating drive mechanism to rotate in a reeling in direction.

Present disclosed is a bait cast reel having a locking part for a hinge-type palm side cover, the palm side cover being hinged to a first side opening of a frame of a reel body to rotatably support one end of a spool shaft. The bait cast reel includes: a reel body in which a spool is rotatably provided; a palmside cover fixed to an outside end of a pillar insert; a spool cover mounted to the palmside cover; a centrifugal brake controls a rotation speed of the spool; a pillar click gear to which the pillar insert is coupled in a moveable manner; a pillar click claw stopping rotation of the pillar click gear; and a stopper supporting the pillar click gear for rotation thereof.

Fishing reel waterproof structure

A fishing reel waterproof structure prevents water intrusion into a bearing member that supports an end of a handle shaft to make the end of the handle shaft rotatable respective to a reel body. The fishing reel waterproof structure includes a flange part, a fixation plate, a seal member and a water stop part. The flange part is on the handle shaft in a vicinity of the end of the handle shaft. The fixation plate restricts axial movement of the bearing member. The fixation plate has an annular shape and is fixed to the reel body. An inner peripheral part of the fixation plate is disposed between the flange part and the bearing member to contact a lateral surface of the bearing member. The seal member seals between the reel body and the fixation plate. The water stop part prevents water intrusion between the flange part and the fixation plate.
