Fishing reel
A fishing reel includes a drive shaft connected to a handle and supported by the reel body so as to be rotatable about a first axis, a drive gear on the drive shaft, a pinion gear rotating about a second axis with the rotation of the drive shaft and meshing with the drive gear, and a shaft bearing supporting the drive shaft so as to be rotatable about the first axis. The shaft bearing includes an inner race with an inner bearing surface contacting the drive shaft and an outer race having an outer bearing surface contacting the reel body. The inner bearing surface or the outer bearing surface includes an adjustment portion that causes the drive shaft to move in the first axial direction relative to the reel body, when the shaft bearing is moved relative to the drive shaft and the reel body.
HANDLE OPERATION ASSIST DEVICE AND HANDLE OPERATION ASSIST PROGRAM
A handle operation assist device includes a handle angular velocity measuring unit, an error calculator and a notification unit. The handle angular velocity measuring unit is configured to measure a handle angular velocity based on an output of a sensor configured to detect an angular velocity corresponding to rotation of a fishing reel handle. The error calculator is configured to calculate an error in the handle angular velocity with respect to a reference angular velocity. The notification unit is configured to carry out notification regarding the error.
Dual-bearing reel
A dual-bearing reel is disclosed. The dual-bearing reel includes a metal frame, a pinion gear, a bearing, a clutch member, and a clutch supporting member made of resin. The metal frame supports a handle shaft. The pinion gear is configured to transmit the rotation of the handle shaft to a spool shaft. The bearing rotatably supports the pinion gear. The clutch member is used for switching the spool shaft and the pinion gear between a coupled state and a decoupled state. The resin clutch supporting member is fixed to the frame. The clutch supporting member supports the clutch member. The clutch supporting member includes a bearing support part for supporting the bearing.
Dual-bearing reel
A dual-bearing reel includes a spool, a spool shaft, a spool supporting portion, a reel body, and a rotating member. The rotating member is disposed to be capable of rotating between a first position in which the spool supporting portion can be removed from the reel body and a second position in which the spool supporting portion cannot be removed from the reel body. In the first position the radially outside portion of the rotating member is disposed spaced apart from the reel body in at least one of a radial direction and an axial direction. In the second position the radially outside portion is disposed on the inside of the outer surface of the body portion in the radial direction, when viewing the rotating member from the outside in the axial direction.
Dual-bearing reel
A dual-bearing reel includes a reel body, a spool shaft, an operating member, and a cam mechanism. The reel body includes a frame, a cover member disposed on one side of the frame, and a shaft support part fixed inside the cover member and supported by the frame. One end of the spool shaft is supported by the shaft support part. The operating member is integrally movable with the shaft support part in the axial direction and rotatably mounted on the shaft support part to rotate between a first position where the shaft support part is attached to the frame and a second position where the shaft support part is detached from the frame. The cam mechanism moves the shaft support part in the axial direction in accordance with the rotation of the operating member such that the shaft support part is attached to and detached from the frame.
REEL SEAT AND FISHING ROD
Provided is a reel seat including a cylindrical reel seat main body including a reel foot mounting part 5 for mounting a reel foot 101 of a dual-bearing reel 100. The reel seat has a configuration in which a rod main body 1 passes through the reel seat main body. A support wall 61 supports a palm of a hand during palming. The support wall 61 protrudes upward from a palming side of the reel seat main body at behind a paling side of left and right sides of the dual-bearing reel 100. A rear-side inclined surface 63 of the support wall 61 abuts against the palm thenar of the hand during palming.
Dual-bearing reel
A dual-bearing reel having a clutch mechanism for connecting a handle and a spool and releasing a connection between the handle and the spool is disclosed. The dual-bearing reel includes a metal frame, a clutch yoke, and a guide member made of resin. The metal frame supports a handle shaft of the handle. The clutch yoke is configured to switch the clutch mechanism between a connected state and a disconnected state. The guide member includes a main body part to be mounted on the frame, and a support part integrally formed with the main body part to guide the clutch yoke in an axial direction along an axis of the spool.
Reel for a fly rod with drag assembly
A reel for a fly rod is described. The reel includes a frame and a spool for holding a supply of fly line. The spool is rotatable about an axis relative to the frame. The reel includes a drag assembly coupled to the spool and the frame. The drag assembly is configured to control resistance to rotation of the spool relative to the frame. The drag assembly includes a first thrust plate that includes at least one ramp surface and a second thrust plate. At least one curved member is carried by the second thrust plate. The at least one curved member is configured to ride along the at least one ramp surface, such that rotation of the second thrust plate about the axis causes movement of the first thrust plate along the axis so as to control the resistance to rotation of the spool relative to the frame.
