Self-locking cable securing device with cartridge and locking element
A self-locking securing device facilitates secure connection to cable or elongated object ends, and employs a retaining jaw, a barrel, a spacer and a sleeve. In various embodiments, the retaining jaw and spacer are formed as part or all of a replaceable cartridge and can include a fastening ring therebetween. Embodiments further include a bottom locking device for securely retaining the cartridge and elements within the barrel.
Adapter for mounting cable hangers
An adapter for a cable hanger includes: a housing having a floor, a vertical wall extending generally perpendicularly from the floor, and side walls extending generally perpendicularly from the floor and vertical wall, each of the side walls including a finger extending generally parallel to the floor, the fingers including first engagement features, the vertical wall including a mounting hole; and a plunger having a main panel and second engagement features on opposite sides of the main panel, the second engagement features configured to engage the first engagement features to restrict relative movement of the plunger relative to the housing.
Adjustable bungee fastener
The bungee fastener has a tapered chute that accepts a locking slider. A channel forms an opening in a side of the body thereby allowing passage of the slider through the channel. A plurality of slider teeth along a portion of the slider within the tapered chute may lock onto a bungee when the slider is slid into a locked position. The slider moves along the channel, thereby selectively narrowing the tapered chute with the slider teeth as the slider is slid into the locked position and enlarging the tapered chute as the slider is slid into the unlocked position. The bungee fastener may include a single slider or a plurality of sliders.
RAPID CORD FASTENER
A fastener assembly for securing a string and/or netting includes a cord fastener and a cord. The cord fastener includes a clasp defining a first opening and a second opening spaced apart from the clasp. The cord is detachably coupled to the cord fastener, and includes a first end extending through the second opening, and a second end insertable into the clasp. The clasp is configured to allow the cord to be pulled through the clasp in a first direction, and to substantially prevent the cord from being pulled in a second direction that is opposite to the first direction. In some embodiments, the clasp includes a plurality of fingers that extend at an angle relative to a central axis of the second opening.
Cable securing device
A cable securing device facilitates secure connection to a cabling end, and employs a retaining cap, a compression member, a barrel with a tapered interior wall and a fastening device.
Multi-task tool assembly with detachable load tension body
A multi-task tool assembly comprising a first side and second side forming an enclosure; one or more utility tools connected at a first end of the enclosure between the first side and the second side and rotatable from a retracted position within the enclosure outward relative to the enclosure to an extended position; and a detachable load tension body connected at a second end of the enclosure, wherein the detachable load tension body is attachable and detachable from the multi-task tool assembly, is disclosed herein.
CABLE SYSTEM AND FASTENER FOR SAME
A fastener is provided for receiving a cable. The fastener includes at least one through-going passageway for receiving the cable and at least one pawl like member that projects into the passage and is used for engaging the cable.
CAPPING ASSEMBLY
A capping assembly (10) for mounting on a covering (12) is disclosed. The capping assembly (10) comprises a cap (14) which can be disposed on the covering (12), a securing arrangement (18) to enable the capping assembly (10) to be secured on the covering (12). The capping assembly (10) further includes an insertion member (16) for insertion through the covering (12). The cap (14) can be attached to the insertion member (16). The securing arrangement (18) comprises a securing device (20) and a holding formation (44) to hold the securing device (20), the holding formation (44) being provided on the insertion member (16).
Gripping Device for Retaining a Cable
A gripping device for retaining a cable includes a base, two opposed gripping arms projecting from the base towards respective end portions along an insertion direction and mutually spaced apart along a transversal direction perpendicular to the insertion direction. The gripping arms include retaining portions configured to receive the cable therebetween and insertion portions configured to allow insertion of the cable towards the retaining portions. The gripping device includes first protrusions projecting from the retaining portions, extending along a first direction angled with respect to the insertion direction and configured to act on the cable to retain the cable between the retaining portions. The gripping device includes second protrusions projecting from the insertion portions and extending along a second direction angled with respect to the insertion direction, where each of the second protrusions being tapered along the insertion direction towards the respective end portion.
Apparatus for timely and securely locking and releasing a rope
An apparatus for timely and securely locking and releasing a rope includes a housing having an interior space and a communication portion for entering a rope into the housing. The housing includes an abutment portion fixed into the housing, a rotatable cam configured to be corresponsive to the abutment portion and pivotally connected to an inner side of one of the side panels, an elastic member installed between the side panel and the cam, and a rotatable start portion having an engagement surface and a first engagement portion. The rotatable start portion is configured to be corresponsive to an end of the cam and pivotally connected to an end of an inner side of one of the side panels, and an end of the start portion has a second engagement portion corresponding to the first engagement portion.
