Manual Window Treatment Having a Floating Chain Tensioner
A manual drive assembly for a manually-operated window treatment based on a drive chain formed as a loop, may incorporate one or more intermediate tensioners disposed between two ends of the loop. The loop may be formed between a manual clutch mechanism coupled to the window treatment and an end tensioner. The one or more intermediate tensioners may serve to limit slack in the loop such that sides of the loop cannot be pulled to create a large loop, for example, having a gap of four inches or greater, between the hanging sides of the cord.
BELT TENSIONING MECHANISM FOR 3D PRINTER AND 3D PRINTER
Some embodiments provide a belt tensioning mechanism for a 3D printer and a 3D printer. In those embodiments, the belt tensioning mechanism comprises a base, a driving pulley, at least one timing pulley, a sliding block, a tensioning pulley, a spring. The base is provided with a first sliding groove. The driving pulley and the at least one timing pulley are mounted on the base and are connected in series with each other via a belt. The sliding block is mounted on the base and is capable of sliding along the first sliding groove. The tensioning pulley is mounted on the sliding block and is connected in series with the driving pulley and the at least one timing pulley via the belt so as to tension the belt. The spring is configured to apply an elastic force to the sliding block.
VARIABLE FORCE TENSIONER ARM WITH CAP DISK SPRING
A stack of disk springs are placed between a second piston of a dual hydraulic variable force tensioner system and a hydraulic tensioner arm to allow much higher spring rates if desired. The springs may be stacked in multiple configurations to provide different spring rates. Package space can be reduced depending on the number of springs and orientations of said springs within the tensioner arm.
Hydraulic tensioner with tunable check valve
A hydraulic tensioner can include a valve retainer and valve member within a housing including a cavity, passageway, and boss. The passageway provides fluid communication with the cavity through an end face of the cavity. The boss is disposed about the passageway and extends axially outward from the end face. The valve retainer can include a first plate. The first plate can be fixedly coupled to the housing. The valve member can include a second plate that can be axially between the first plate and the boss. The second plate can extend in a radial direction beyond an outermost edge of the boss. The second plate can move axially between a closed position wherein the second plate is in sealing contact with the boss and an open position wherein the second plate is axially spaced apart from the boss. The valve spring biases the second plate toward the closed position.
CHAIN DRIVE SYSTEM
An object of the present invention is to provide a chain drive system capable of reducing sliding resistance between a chain and a guide shoe, suppressing an increase, over time, in sliding resistance, and reducing wear on the guide shoe. A chain drive system according to the present invention includes a chain having a plurality of chain plates, a plurality of sprockets on which the chain is wound, and one or more guides each including, integrally or separately, a guide shoe having a chain-running surface, and slidably guiding, in presence of lubricating oil, the chain. At least one of the plurality of chain plates has a lubricant region retaining a solid lubricant.
Wet-running flexible drive
Wet-running flexible drive mechanism (1) for the transmission of torque having a drive element (2, 2) and an output element (3, 3), the drive element (2, 2) and the output element (3, 3) being drive-connected to one another via a flexible drive (14), the flexible drive (14) being arranged partially in a lubricant sump (4), characterized in that at least one guiding element (5) is arranged in the region of the lubricant sump (4), the guiding element (5) being shaped in such a way that a constriction (6) in the form of a gap which tapers in a wedge-shaped manner is formed between the flexible drive (14) which is arranged partially in the lubricant sump (4) and the guiding element (5).
SKID STEER MANURE SPREADER ATTACHMENT
The skid steer manure spreader attachment includes a main bucket compartment, a cover, and a beater shaft. The bucket, cover, and beater shaft are preferably formed of welded steel. The bucket has an industry standard quick attach plate on the back so it can be quickly attached to any standard skid steer, and is a standard width. A hydraulic motor operates the beater shaft and the cover. The beater shaft has blades angled in two directions. The beater shaft spins forward so the beater blades through manure out of the top of the bucket, above the shaft. The hydraulic motor drives the top sprocket, and a chain drives the bottom sprocket. A tensioner pivots on one screw to allow the user to tension the chain as needed.
CHAIN TENSIONER
A chain tensioner includes a sleeve fixedly disposed in the cylinder, with one end thereof inserted in the plunger and the other end protruding out of the plunger. A cylindrical space is formed between the outer periphery of the sleeve and the inner periphery of the cylinder. An oil supply passage opens to the cylindrical space. A communication passage is defined in the sleeve and provides communication between the cylindrical space and the reservoir chamber.
Chain drive with a combination rail
A chain drive for an internal combustion engine, comprises a driving sprocket, at least one driven sprocket, a drive chain coupling the sprockets, a pivotably supported tensioning rail which is pressed against one of the spans of the drive chain, and a slide rail which abuts on another of the spans of the drive chain, wherein the slide rail and the tensioning rail have a common base body, which is arranged such that it is pivotable about a common pivot axis, and the arcuate portion of a slide surface of the slide rail, which comes into contact with the drive chain during operation, has an axis of curvature or axes of curvature, and the arcuate portion of a slide surface of the tensioning rail, which comes into contact with the drive chain, has an axis of curvature or axes of curvature.
RETENTION OF CHAIN TENSIONER PISTON
A camshaft chain tensioner, comprising: a piston having an exterior circumferential surface that includes at least one groove; an expandable clip, positioned around the exterior circumferential surface, that includes a first end and a second end, the expandable clip being expandable from a resting diameter to an expanded diameter, wherein the expandable clip existing in the resting diameter engages one of the grooves and prevents axial movement of the piston and wherein the expandable clip existing in the expanded diameter permits axial movement of the piston in response to an axial force exerted on the piston; and a clip retention device that releasably engages the expandable clip and inhibits radially outward expansion of the expandable clip to the expanded diameter of the expandable clip.
