HYDRAULIC TENSIONING DEVICE FOR A CHAIN DRIVE
A hydraulic tensioning device for a chain drive, having a tensioning piston which is guided in a holder and which, on its outer circumferential surface, has locking grooves, an inner guide which projects into a cavity of the piston, and a locking element which has at least two annular sections and at least two radial extensions, wherein the locking element can be placed in engagement by the at least two annular sections with one of the locking grooves, and having a clamping stop and a sliding stop which are axially spaced apart from one another. To simplify the structural design, the holder has at least two axial extensions which extend in an axial direction between the clamping stop plane and the sliding stop plane, wherein the at least two axial extensions and the tensioning piston do not enclose the at least two radial extensions.
Attachment device
An attachment device is split collar that surrounds a conventional keyway or setscrews. The split collar arrangement is equipped with either two or four bolts (one or two per side) depending on the overall size of the invention. In the case of use on a keyway, one half of the invention has a groove to hold the keyway in position. As the bolts of the invention are tightened down, the keyway becomes locked in place.
AUTO-TENSIONER
A fixing tool of an auto-tensioner includes inwardly inclined engaging pieces inclined inwardly so as to be opposed to respective tapered surfaces of a spring seat and a cylinder of the auto-tensioner. The engaging pieces have concave surfaces that contact the tapered surfaces over a circumferentially extending area. This minimizes the deformation of the engaging pieces such that the diametrical distances therebetween increase due to contact with the tapered surfaces when sandwiching the spring seat and the cylinder with the engaging pieces from the axially opposite directions, thereby preventing the fixing tool from coming off.
HYDRAULIC TENSIONING DEVICE FOR A CHAIN DRIVE
A hydraulic tensioning device for a chain drive, including tensioning piston, which is guided in a holder and which has locking grooves on the outer peripheral surface of the tensioning piston, and including a locking element, which has at least two annular sections and at least two radial extensions, wherein the locking element can be brought into engagement with one of the locking grooves by the at least two annular sections, and including a clamping stop and a sliding stop, which are axially spaced apart from each other. In order to simplify the design, the holder has at least two axial extensions, which extend in the axial direction between the clamping stop plane and the sliding stop plane. The at least two axial extensions and the tensioning piston do not enclose the at least two radial extensions.
ACCESSORY DRIVE BELT TENSIONER
The present invention relates to an accessory drive belt tensioner for use in an engine for motor vehicles, comprising a base, a tensioner arm and a pulley mounted on the tensioner arm, wherein the base and the tensioner arm are arranged in a pivotal arrangement, the base and the tensioner arm are tension loaded and the pivotal arrangement confines a space being aimed for receiving a generator pulley, wherein the tensioner arm is made of a specific thermally conductive plastic composition; comprises cooling fins, the cooling fins being positioned in the vicinity of, or at least partially inside the space confined by the pivotal arrangement; and comprises a bearing surface part, for sliding contact with the base (A) within the pivotal arrangement, consisting of metal.
Pulley device for tensioner roller or winding roller
A pulley device for a tensioner roller provides a pulley, a bearing, a spacer supporting the bearing. The spacer is provided with a through bore, and a securing bolt extending to the inside of the bore in the spacer. The device includes at least one means for the temporary locking of the securing bolt in relation to the spacer, the temporary locking means being separable and inserted between the bolt and the spacer. A pulley device for a winding roller is also provided.
Linear tensioner
A linear tensioner is provided for tensioning a traction mechanism provided in a drive system with a first adjustment element that has a hollow-cylindrical construction and a second adjustment element that is guided so that it can be moved longitudinally on this first element, wherein contact surfaces are formed on facing end surfaces of the adjustment elements, on which a compression spring actuating at least one of the adjustment elements in the tensioning direction is supported. A transport securing device is provided that prevents, in a specified locked position, a movement of the adjustment elements relative to each other by at least one locking element.
Tensioner
To provide a simple-structured tensioner that can maintain good sliding properties of and hydraulic pressure for the plunger. The tensioner 10 includes a sleeve 30 inserted into a cylindrical body hole 21, a plunger 40 inserted in the sleeve 30 such as to be able to advance and retract along an axial direction of the sleeve 30, and biasing unit 60 for biasing the plunger 40 toward a front side. The sleeve 30 has, at a front end of a sleeve body 31 thereof, a flange part 33 extending radially outward.
Starter generator belt tensioner
A generator belt drive of an internal combustion engine, having a generator arrangement with a generator (1) having a belt pulley (6) and a belt tensioner (2). The generator arrangement includes the following: a first tensioning lever (8) with a first tensioning roller (4), a second tensioning lever (9) with a second tensioning roller, these tensioning rollers being arranged in front of and behind the belt pulley in a circulating direction of the belt (3) and applying a pretensioning force onto the belt, a spring (7) arranged between the tensioning levers and which moves the tensioning rollers towards each other, thereby generating the pretensioning force, and a locking arrangement (11), by which the tensioning levers can be locked relative to each other in a position in which the tensioning rollers are moved away from each other, thereby reducing or canceling the pretensioning force. The generator arrangement also includes an additional locking element by which one of the tensioning levers can be locked relative to the generator that eitheris a starter generator (1) and the generator belt drive has a decoupler that is arranged on the generator or on a crankshaft of the internal combustion engine and decouples a rotating starter generator mass from the crankshaft with the support of the belt tensioner, or has no starter mode.
