A robotic picking assembly (100) comprising an arm support arrangement (8) configured to move vertically and to rotate about a vertical axis. A horizontally extendable arm (1) is supported in the arm support arrangement. A gripping tool (20) arranged at a free end (1a) of the arm. The arm comprises arm modules (2) linked together in a chain. The arm modules (2) have a pivot means (4) linking adjacent arm modules together in a pivoting manner and a pivot restriction means (15, 16, 18, 19) limiting curving of the arm to only one direction. The arm support arrangement (8) has an arm guiding arrangement (25, 21, 21a, 21b, 33) guiding the arm between an extended position and a retracted position, and an arm drive arrangement (7) configured to move the arm between said extended and retracted positions.

The connecting sections are fixed to the outer circumferential surface of the cylindrical body. The guide structure is an annular body provided on the outer circumferential surface of the cylindrical body.

The guide has a plurality of guide pieces that are connected bendably in mutual front and rear end surfaces to deform in accordance with rising and lowering movement of a rising and lowering rotation joint, and the guide hangs into the storage section from a tip position where the guide is fixed to the feed mechanism section.

It is provided a chain link for a link chain which is flexible per se and in which chain links connected to each other are movable in relation to each other and can be locked to each other such that the link chain which is flexible per se can be stiffened by locking the chain links to each other. The chain link has at least a first connection segment for the connection to a first chain link and a further second connection segment for the connection to a second chain link. The chain link has a carrier having the first connection segment and has an adjustment part having the second connection segment, said adjustment part being supported in an adjustable manner relative to the carrier.

The links have a connector end including a tongue. The block end and connector end are one-piece members that include a plurality of gear teeth along one side of both the block end and connector end. A plurality of protrusions or pins connect the tongues to the receptacles. The links are adapted to be pivoted by a driving gear between a driving orientation of the links with the driving face engaging the driven face of an adjacent link in a forward direction.

An aircraft actuation system is disclosed that includes a pair of cylinders, a piston movably disposed in each cylinder, and a roller train that extends between the pistons in the two cylinders. A portion of the roller train is disposed beyond the cylinders to engage a pinion. Movement of the pistons in the two cylinders in opposite directions produces a corresponding movement of the roller train to in turn rotate the pinion. The roller train may be maintained in compression between its two ends by fluid pressure exerted on a common face of each of the pistons in the two cylinders. The cylinders may be disposed in non-colinear relation, including in parallel relation to one another. A guide may be used to maintain rollers of the roller train in a proper orientation for entry into a space between an outer race and the pinion.
