A drive gear used for a fishing reel includes a disc portion having a rotational axis, and a gear tooth protruding from a side surface on an outer peripheral side of the disc portion in a direction in which the rotational axis extends. The gear tooth has a body part and an extended part extending radially inward from the body part. A first angle formed by a cylindrical surface around the rotational axis passing through an axially-outer surface of the body part and a radially-inner surface of the extended part is larger than a meshing pressure angle.
Gear unit including a rotatably mounted toothed part, and process for manufacturing a gear unit including a toothed part
In a gear unit that includes a rotatably mounted toothed part and a method for manufacturing a gear unit that includes a toothed part, the toothed part has bearing seats and a toothing, and the toothed part, e.g., together with the toothing, is produced from sintered metal powder. The toothed part is, for example, arranged as one piece, e.g., in an integral fashion.
INPUT SHAFT FOR USE IN INTEGRATED DRIVE GENERATOR
An input drive shaft for use in an integrated drive generator has a body extending from an end to a clutch face. The clutch face includes a plurality of clutch teeth extending away from a nominal surface of the body. The clutch face defines an inner bore of a first diameter. The clutch face has an outer peripheral surface defining a second diameter and a ratio of the first diameter to the second diameter is between 1.50 and 1.65. An integrated drive generator and a method are also disclosed.
