FLAMELESS ENERGIZER FOR TREATMENT AGENT
An energized assembly to enhance efficacy of a treatment agent in a local environment. The assembly includes an emanator or holder element to hold treatment agent, and a flameless energizing source to energize the treatment agent and thereby, place the treatment agent into an enhanced operational state. Preferred embodiments operate for a period of time of between about 4 and 8 hours, and can then be discarded. Typically, a housing associates the treatment agent and the energizing source. Embodiments may sometimes include one or more of: a gas-tight boundary element, a thermal transfer element, a trigger mechanism, a safety mechanism, a termination mechanism, a time-delay mechanism, solidized treatment agent to avoid spills, and a sequestering arrangement to avoid premature combination of reactants.
REMOVABLE ASSEMBLY FOR A DIFFUSING APPARATUS
The invention relates to a diffusing apparatus for diffusing a substance in the vapor state into the surrounding air, and in particular to a removable assembly of said apparatus which includes a storage container (10, 110, 210) including an orifice (12) and containing a liquid substance selected from semiochemical molecules, pheromones, allomones, kairomones, synomones and fragrances of natural or synthetic origin, and an inner cellular retaining member housed at least in a mouth area of the storage container which is adjacent to the opening and set back from the opening. The removable assembly of the apparatus may include a dispensing member (30) including a porous body having an evaporation surface located outside the storage container. The substance may have a viscosity which varies according to temperature, the viscosity and the surface tension of the liquid substance being such that when the acceleration due to gravity is exerted from the opening toward the porous body, the substance does not flow through the porous body at an ambient temperature below a first temperature.
SPATIAL INSECT REPELLENT COMPOSITIONS
Disclosed herein are spatial insect repellent compositions comprising pyrethrins and about 5% to about 20% by weight p-menthane-3,8-diol.
SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR MOLECULE DISPENSING
A portable, heated scent, odor, and/or molecule dispense system is provided, as well as devices and methods for doing the same. The portable systems and methods to dispense molecules may contain a liquid, gel, solid, foam, or other material-based formulation so as to attract, repel, kill, mask, or otherwise use the molecules. The portable system and methods may include a housing; a molecule holding pad in the housing; a first chemical reaction heat source in the housing; and a second chemical reaction heat source in the housing, wherein the molecule holding pad is arranged between the first chemical reaction heat source and the second chemical reaction heat source, and wherein the first chemical reaction heat source and the second chemical reaction heat source are each reactive to oxygen.
Spatial insect repellent compositions
Disclosed herein are spatial insect repellent compositions comprising pyrethrins and about 5% to about 20% by weight p-menthane-3,8-diol.
DEVICE FOR DISPERSING IN THE AIR A VAPOR OF A LIQUID SUBSTANCE
A device for dispersing in the air in the vapor state and a substance that is in the liquid state at ambient temperature, and is contained in a storage container, has a ventilation system with a duct that opens out into the open air and is configured to permit the passage of a flow of air into the duct; at least one dispensing unit is designed to be supplied with a liquid substance by the storage container, the dispensing unit having micro-ducts forming an outlet is provided in the duct in order to constitute an area of evaporation of the substance therein, and a heating unit is provided on or in the dispensing unit, such as to control a flow of the substance through the dispensing unit.
METHOD FOR REUSING CONDENSATE FORMED ON A GRILL OF AN INSECT REPELLENT DEVICE
An operating device creating a rising heated vapor which passes through a grill having a concave surface enabling the condensate formed on the grill to migrate towards the center of the grill and away from the periphery of the grill which prevents condensate from dropping onto the operating device interfering with its operation.
USE OF DISPENSING DEVICES IN AGRICULTURAL APPLICATIONS
Use of a device D in agricultural applications, forestry or home and garden applications, wherein said device D is used for dispensing in the air, as a vapor, an active ingredient that is liquid at ambient temperature, wherein device D contains: —an aeration system that contains a pipe (2, 4, 510) opening into the open air and is configured to allow an airflow to pass through the pipe; —at least one distributor member (8, 208) that is in fluid connection with a storage container and is intended to be supplied with a liquid active ingredient from said storage container, said distributor member containing a porous body (8, 208) that contains micro-channels forming an outlet arranged in said pipe in order to constitute an evaporation zone for the active ingredient therein, wherein the pores present in said porous body are at least a part of the micro-pipes of the distributor member; —a heating member (11, 211, 132) arranged on or in the distributor member so as to control a flow of the active ingredient through the distributor member.
Pet insect repeller
Disclosed is a pet insect repeller, tied to the neck of a pet by a strap, comprising a housing, and a battery, a circuit board and a heating portion mounted inside the housing. The battery and a heating plate are respectively connected to the circuit board. One side of the housing is provided with a plurality of through volatilization holes. The heating portion is provided with a drug carrying member that is loaded with a biological active component. The battery is used to provide an operating current for the heating portion. After the battery is turned on, the heating portion generates heat to heat the drug carrying member. After the temperature of the drug carrying member rises, the biological active component is volatilized and diffused to the body surface of a pet through the volatilization holes. By adopting the above technical solution, there will no harm to the pet.
