Dispensing unit
A dispensing unit has a base with two or more upwardly projecting side panels hingedly attached thereto. The sides have upper ends which pivot inwardly to a closed position, and outwardly to an open position. One or more removable dispensable compound containers are locatable within the unit, positioned adjacent a relative movable side panel. Each side has a capping projection that is located over and caps the container when the side panel is in a closed position, and which uncap the container when in the open position. When the sides are pivoted outwardly, they permit dispensing of the dispensable compound located in each container.
Flameless energized emanator
An energized assembly to disseminate a treatment agent in vapor phase to a local environment. The assembly includes an emanator element to hold treatment agent, and a flameless energizing source to facilitate volatization of the treatment agent. Preferred embodiments operate for a period of time of between about 4 and 8 hours, and can then be discarded. Typically, a housing associates the treatment agent and the energizing source. Embodiments may sometimes include one or more of: a gas-tight boundary element, a thermal transfer element, a trigger mechanism, a safety mechanism, a termination mechanism, a time-delay mechanism, solidized treatment agent to avoid spills, and a sequestering arrangement.
Device for evaporating a volatile material
An assembly for evaporating a volatile material is described, the assembly comprising a device and a refill which are detachable from one another: wherein the device comprises a magnetic induction coil configured to operate with an alternating current passed therethrough at a frequency of between substantially 20 KHz to substantially 500 KHz; and wherein the refill comprises at least one magnetic susceptor having a coercivity of substantially 50 ampere/meter (H.sub.C) to substantially 1500 ampere/meter (H.sub.C) and a substantially liquid-tight sealed reservoir containing the volatile material; wherein, in use, the magnetic susceptor(s) is arranged to heat the material predominately by magnetic hysteresis when the magnetic susceptor(s) is at least partially positioned in the induced magnetic field generated, in use, when said alternating current is passed through the induction coil. Refills, devices and methods of use are also described.
GRILL PROVIDING RECYCLED CONDENSATE FOR HEATED APPARATUS
An operating device creating a rising heated vapor which passes through a grill having a concave surface enabling the condensate formed on the grill to migrate towards the center of the grill and away from the periphery of the grill which prevents condensate from dropping onto the operating device interfering with its operation.
Device for evaporating a volatile fluid
An assembly for evaporating a volatile fluid includes a device and a refill which are detachable from one another: wherein the device comprises a magnetic induction coil configured to operate with an alternating current passed therethrough at a frequency of between substantially 20 KHz to substantially 500 KHz; the refill comprises a fluid reservoir containing the volatile fluid, a wick and at least one magnetic susceptor arranged to heat the wick predominately by magnetic hysteresis when said alternating current is passed through the induction coil, wherein the magnetic susceptor has a coercivity of substantially 50 ampere/meter (H.sub.C) to substantially 1500 ampere/meter (H.sub.C). Refills, devices and methods of operation are also described.
COMPOSITE MULTI-EFFECT MOSQUITO PREVENTION AND CONTROL APPARATUS
Disclosed is a composite multi-effect mosquito prevention and control apparatus, which is used in combination with a drug for mosquito prevention and control. The composite multi-effect mosquito prevention and control apparatus includes an apparatus housing, the apparatus housing is provided with a first heating zone and a second heating zone for heating the drug, and the drug is detachably installed in the first heating zone and the second heating zone; a first drug installed in the first heating zone contains pyrethroid, a second drug installed in the second heating zone contains a repellent agent, and the repellent agent contains one or more of picaridin, ethyl butylacetylaminopropionate, diethyltoluamide (DEET), and methyl nonylketone. The present application heats the drug containing different main acting agents according to its optimal working temperature by setting the first heating zone and the second heating zone with different temperature ranges.
LASER POWERED INSECT CONTROL DEVICE
An insect control device includes a housing having a front side, a cartridge slot formed through the front side, a power supply compartment, a circuit board compartment, and a cover that is removably positioned in covering relation to the power supply compartment and the circuit board compartment; a diode positioned within the housing and in aligned relation to the cartridge slot; a cartridge containing pesticide that is sized and adapted for placement through the cartridge slot and positioning is spaced relation above the diode; a power supply adapted to be positioned in the power supply compartment; and a circuit board adapted to be positioned in the circuit board compartment and being electrically connected to the power supply and the diode.
Fluid Reservoir Having Controlled Wick Immersion Level
A vapor emitting device has a main body with a wick. The main body includes a material reservoir and a wick reservoir. The material reservoir is configured to contain a volatilizable material and a vacuum volume. The vacuum volume supports at least a partial vacuum at a predetermined level. The material reservoir has a base surface surrounded by reservoir walls with a top surface including an inlet formed on the top surface. The wick reservoir extends from the inlet through the material reservoir and towards the base surface. The wick reservoir has a first end and a second end. The first end is adjacent to the inlet and includes an inlet orifice. The second end is adjacent to the base surface and has a material orifice. The wick is disposed through the inlet and the wick reservoir with an air gap formed between the wick and the wick reservoir.
