Chain composed of different pitch links with repeated sequence

A number of variations may include a product that may include a linking member that may have links arranged in rows that have multiple pitch lengths. Each of the rows may have at least one link. Each of the multiple pitch lengths may be a discrete length that may be different from others of the multiple pitch lengths. The rows may be arranged along the linking member in a repeating sequence of the multiple pitch lengths.

Isolator for use with engine that is assisted or started by an MGU or a motor through an endless drive member

An isolator for isolating a device driven by an engine via an endless drive member is described. The isolator comprises a shaft adapter that is connectable with a shaft of the device, defining a shaft adapter axis, a rotary drive member that is rotatable relative to the shaft adapter and has an endless drive member engagement surface that is engageable with the endless drive member, and an isolation spring arrangement positioned to transfer torque between the shaft adapter and the rotary drive member. The isolation spring arrangement has at least one isolation spring that is axially offset from the endless drive member engagement surface. The at least one isolation spring has an outer edge that is radially outside the endless drive member engagement surface.

A pulley assembly having a body, a shaft mount and a plurality of bolts is disclosed. The body is aligned to the shaft mount by providing a tight tolerance between a shoulder portion of the bolt and a neck portion of a counter sunk hole formed in the body. Additionally, an outer surface of the body may have a pattern of friction lines or patches formed by fusing particulate matter to the outer surface with heat generated by a laser beam.

FILTERING PULLEY ASSEMBLY FOR A BELT DRIVE

A filtering pulley assembly for an accessory drive of a vehicle has a hub fixedly attachable to a rotating shaft, a pulley mounted coaxial and freely rotating on said hub, an actuator disc carried by the hub, a plurality of elastic assemblies interposed between the pulley and the actuator disc, and a torque limiting coupling configured to rotationally connect the actuator disc to the hub, when the torque is below a predetermined threshold value, and to decouple the actuator disc from the hub, when the torque is above the threshold value.

Belt pulley and plastic injection-molding method for the production thereof

Provided is a plastic injection-molding method for producing a poly-V belt pulley, which has an outer ring, an inner ring, and a ring web, which connects the outer ring to the inner ring and has a plurality of radially oriented ribs. The injection molding occurs in a circular-ring-shaped injection-molding cavity, a poly-V-ribbed inner shell of which is formed by a plurality of radially movable slides and which is vented during the injection molding by the gaps between the slides adjacent to each other. The rib contour in the injection-molding cavity are designed in such a way that the plurality of ribs is formed of a first group of thin ribs and a second group of thick ribs and that the gaps extend in radial extension of the thin ribs, the width of which is significantly less than the width of the thick ribs, which extend circumferentially between the gaps.
