The input gear sub-assembly includes an input gear, the output gear sub-assembly includes an output gear, and the idler gear sub-assembly includes at least one idler gear and at least one removable adaptor effective for holding the idler gear in either a first position or a second position different from the first position. The sub-assemblies may also include bearings to facilitate movement of the gears.

The accessory drive gearbox includes an overrunning clutch assembly configured to rotationally connect the ATS output shaft to an accessory gearbox shaft when the overrunning clutch engages the ATS output shaft such that the overrunning clutch assembly transmits rotational energy from the ATS output shaft to an accessory gearbox shaft. The overrunning clutch assembly is configured to permit the accessory gearbox shaft to rotate independent of the ATS output shaft when the overrunning shaft is disengaged from the ATS output shaft. The overrunning clutch assembly is configured to be removeable from the accessory drive gearbox as a removeable clutch cartridge.

GEARBOX WITH CONFIGURABLE IDLER GEAR

A gearbox includes a housing, input shaft, and a geartrain. An input gear fixed to the input shaft is rotatable about an input axis. An idler gear is rotatable about an idler gear axis and supported by a mount. Output gear(s) are rotated from the idler gear. The mount includes a mount pin extending along a mount axis through the idler gear and an opening in the housing, and an eccentric bushing positioned around the mount pin and centrally within the idler gear. The eccentric bushing is rotatable about the mount axis to alter an offset between the input axis and the idler gear axis. A fastener can lock a position of the bushing in relation to the housing. The fastener is engageable in a first/second hole of the housing to accommodate a first/second gear ratio between the input gear and the output gear(s).

An output shaft of the gearbox is non-rotatably and detachably connected to the intermediate piece. The intermediate piece is non-rotatably and detachably connected to the intermediate shaft.
