Planet carrier for a planetary gear set
A planet carrier for a planetary gear set includes a pair of carrier plates. A planet gear is positioned between the carrier plates of the pair of carrier plates. A pin extends between the carrier plates of the pair of carrier plates through the planet gear such that the planet gear is rotatable relative to the carrier plates of the pair of carrier plates on the pin. A retainer is removably mounted to one of the pair of carrier plates. The pin is positioned against the retainer at the one of the pair of carrier plates. The pin may be rotatable relative to the carrier plates of the pair of carrier plates.
Linear actuator for motion simulator
A linear actuator comprises a motor having an output shaft. A casing of the motor has an inner cavity with a counterbore seat surface. A threaded shaft is within the inner cavity. A bearing is received in the counterbore seat surface. A coupling assembly has a first coupling component receiving the rotational output from the motor, and a second coupling component coupled to the first coupling component for transmission of the rotational output to the threaded shaft. A sliding tube is sliding arrangement with the casing for moving in translation relative to the casing. A traveling nut is in the sliding tube for moving therewith for converting a rotational motion of the threaded shaft into a translation of the sliding tube. An integral driven assembly unit comprising the bearing, the threaded shaft, the traveling nut and the sliding tube interconnected to one another so as to be removable by pulling out the integral driven assembly as a whole from the inner cavity of the casing via the proximal end.
TRANSMISSION AND GENERATOR WITH INTERMEDIATE SHAFT
An arrangement, including a gearbox, a generator, an intermediate shaft configured as a hollow shaft which is mounted at least partially in a housing of the gearbox, wherein a rotor of the generator is non-rotatably connected to the intermediate shaft and is supported by the intermediate shaft, and an intermediate piece arranged at least partially in the intermediate shaft. An output shaft of the gearbox is non-rotatably and detachably connected to the intermediate piece. The intermediate piece is non-rotatably and detachably connected to the intermediate shaft.
Multi-gear-ratio portal gear box
A portal gear box assembly for an off-road vehicle that includes a housing that defines an input gear subassembly indent, an output gear subassembly indent, and one or more idler-gear subassembly indents. The assembly includes an input gear subassembly positioned in the input gear subassembly indent with an input gear connected to an input shaft, an output gear subassembly positioned in the output gear subassembly indent with an output gear connected to an output shaft, and an idler-gear subassembly positioned within the one or more idler-gear subassembly indents to connect the input and output gears with a removable adaptor that is selectively positionable in more than one configuration to alter the transmission ratio between the input and output gears.
CONTINUOUSLY VARIABLE TRANSMISSION
A continuously variable transmission for a vehicle includes a drive clutch, a driven clutch operably coupled to the drive clutch, and a belt extending between the drive and driven clutches. The continuously variable transmission also includes an inner cover and an outer cover removably coupled to the inner cover. At least one of the inner and outer covers includes an air inlet for providing cooling air to the drive and driven clutches and the belt.
Automatic transmission device
An automatic transmission device comprises a flat steel plate for placing in between an automatic transmission pump body and an automatic transmission bellhousing that supports both rotating pump gears and completely encloses said gears within pump housing, and eleven holes, the device configured so that seven holes are for pump mounting bolts, three holes are for fluid passage that directly mimic the size, shape, dimension and position of the holes in the pump body, and one center hole for pump gear operation.
Drive system for a skid steered vehicle
Gearboxes for a skid steered vehicle including layouts in which all electric propulsion drive motors and electric steering motors are located on one side of the gearbox, and layouts in which the drive inputs of the electric propulsion drive motors are located face to face. Gear change units and gear packaging configurations suitable for such gearboxes.
CUTTING APPARATUS
A cutting apparatus suitable for creating tunnels and subterranean roadways includes independently pivoting supports that each carry a respective independently pivoting arm and a rotatable cutting head. Each cutting head via the supports and arms, is configured to slew laterally outward in a sideways direction and to pivot in a vertical upward and downward direction. The supports and arms are mounted on a linear moving sled carried by a main frame.
CUTTING APPARATUS AND METHOD OF OPERATING
A cutting apparatus suitable for creating tunnels and subterranean roadways includes independently pivoting supports that each carry a respective, independently pivoting arm and a rotatable cutting head. Each cutting head, via the supports and arms, is configured to slew laterally outward in a sideways direction and to pivot in a vertical upward and downward direction. The supports and arms are mounted on a linear moving sled carried by a main frame.
