Movable Barrier Operator and Gearbox Thereof
In one aspect, a moveable barrier operator is provided that includes a motor, an armature shaft of the motor, and a worm screw assembled with a distal end portion of the armature shaft. The movable barrier operator further includes a worm wheel engaged with the worm and a rotatable drive member connected to the worm wheel. Turning of the armature shaft and worm screw mounted thereto causes turning of the worm wheel and rotatable drive member.
Modular drive apparatus
A modular drive apparatus includes a gear box (16) with a rotatable internal transmission gear (60). The gear box includes a plurality of body openings (44). The openings may be selectively closed by the installation of cover plates (52, 54). With a cover plate removed, a drive coupler (32, 34, 58, 148) may be extended in the respective opening and mounted in operative connection with the gear box. In the mounted position of the drive coupler, an idler gear (72, 172) engages the ring gear of the gear box. Rotatable power devices such as pumps, motors and generators may be operatively rotatably engaged with the drive coupler.
MODULAR GEAR TRANSMISSION AND ASSOCIATED SYSTEM
A modular gear transmission and associated systems. The modular gear transmission has an assembled configuration, and the modular gear transmission comprises a first transmission body and a first transmission gear set. The first transmission gear set comprises a first protruding gear, a first intermediate gear set comprising at least one intermediate transmission gear, and a first transmission socket. The first transmission body is configured so that, when the modular gear transmission is in the assembled configuration, the first transmission body engages the first transmission gear set to hold the first transmission gear set in a rotatable configuration. The first protruding gear is configured so that, when the modular gear transmission is in the assembled configuration, the first protruding gear protrudes from the first transmission body and is rotatably engaged with the first intermediate gear set, the first protruding gear configured to rotate around a first referential axis of rotation.
Gearbox for vehicles
A gearbox for vehicles that includes a split gearbox, a main gearbox and a range gearbox, which is shiftable into a low range gear position and a high range gear position. The range gearbox includes a planetary gear with a ring gear wheel, a sun gear wheel and a planet carrier, on which at least one planet gear wheel is rotatably mounted. A gearbox housing surrounds the planetary gear. A first axially movable coupling sleeve engages the planet carrier with the gearbox housing. A second axially movable coupling sleeve engages the ring gear wheel with an output shaft to shift into a reverse gear. A crawler gear in the main gearbox is arranged to transfer torque through the gearbox when the range gearbox is shifted into the reverse gear.
CONTROL DEVICE AND ASSOCIATED PRODUCTION METHOD
A control device for mechanically actuating a component may include an electric motor, which may comprise a stator and a rotor with a driveshaft, an output shaft for directly or indirectly actuating the component, a transmission, which may drive-connect the driveshaft to the output shaft and which may comprise a worm drive with a worm and a worm wheel, and a drive axis around which the driveshaft may be rotatable and which may extend inclined to an output axis about which the output shaft may be rotatable. The worm, with respect to the driveshaft, may be arranged non-rotatably and may mesh with the worm wheel, which may be rotatably arranged on the output shaft and non-rotatably connected to a first gear wheel, which may be rotatably arranged on the output shaft and may mesh with a second gear wheel, which may be rotatable about an intermediate axis extending parallel to the output axis and may be non-rotatably connected to a third gear wheel, which may be rotatable about the intermediate axis and may mesh with a fourth gear wheel, which may be non-rotatably arranged on the output shaft.
