DRIVING SYSTEM HAVING OIL CIRCULATION STRUCTURE
Disclosed is a driving system having an oil circulation structure in which churned oil is collected in a housing and in which the collected oil is efficiently distributed to driving structures, which include a motor and a speed reducer, thereby smoothly cooling and lubricating the respective driving structures. In addition, it is possible to adjust the level of the oil depending on whether the driving structures are in a low-load state or a high-load state, thereby improving lubrication and cooling performance.
Transfer structure for vehicle
A transfer structure for a vehicle which retains a stable amount of lubricant in a coupling chamber and maintains a cooling effect for a coupling by agitation of the lubricant irrespective of an inclination of a vehicle in a front-rear direction. The transfer structure includes a gear chamber housing first and second gears meshing with each other; a coupling chamber housing a coupling provided coaxially with the first gear; an introduction path which introduces a lubricant in the gear chamber into the coupling chamber; and a return path through which the lubricant in the coupling chamber is returned to the gear chamber. The return path is inclined downward toward the gear chamber from an opening that opens in a lower part of an intermediate part of the coupling chamber in a vehicle front-rear direction to an oil discharge hole that opens in the gear chamber.
FLUID SUMP FOR ACCOMMODATING A LUBRICATING FLUID
A fluid sump for accommodating a lubricating fluid and transmission housing for a vehicle comprising such a fluid sump. The fluid sump may comprise a first compartment for collecting the lubricating fluid, a second compartment in which the lubricating fluid can be brought in contact with a rotating member, and an intermediate compartment having a first opening for introducing the lubricating fluid from the first compartment into the intermediate compartment, a second opening for introducing the lubricating fluid from the intermediate compartment into the second compartment, and a floating element. In one or more examples, the first opening can be opened and closed by the floating element, and the first compartment, the intermediate compartment and the second compartment are provided with ambient pressure.
Oil management system
An oil management system for a vehicle includes a differential housing, a transmission housing, a lubricant tank, a suction line, a lubricant pump, and an air suction pump. The transmission housing is connected to the differential housing in an air-tight manner, and a lubricant through-passage is defined between the transmission housing and the differential housing. The lubricant tank is provided in the differential housing and has a lubricant suction opening in a lower region. The lubricant pump conveys lubricant from the lubricant tank through the suction line and conducts the lubricant to the lubrication points in the differential housing and the transmission housing. The air suction pump pumps air from the lubricant tank into the transmission housing so that an excess air pressure is maintained in the transmission housing.
Torque transmission apparatus
A transmission including a rotating shaft, a planetary gear mechanism, a friction engagement device disposed on radial outside of a ring gear of the planetary gear mechanism, a plate attached to the ring gear so as to face an outer circumferential surface of the ring gears, and a restriction member attached to the ring gear to restrict a movement of the plate in an axial direction. A first oil hole is formed at the ring gear so as to lead an oil supplied from an oil passage inside the rotating shaft to an outside of the ring gear in the radial direction, and a second oil hole is formed at the plate so as to lead the oil led through the first oil hole to the friction engagement device.
VEHICLE ELECTRIC DRIVE MODULE WITH THERMAL MANAGEMENT SYSTEM
An electric drive module (EDM) configured to generate and transfer drive torque to a driveline for propulsion of an electric vehicle. The EDM includes a gearbox assembly, an electric motor having a rotor and a stator, and a thermal management system. The thermal management system includes a fluid circuit configured to supply a fluid to the gearbox assembly, the rotor, and the stator, and a pump configured to direct the fluid through the fluid circuit. A valve is disposed on the fluid circuit and configured to selectively move between (i) a closed position where the fluid is not supplied to the stator, and (ii) an open position where the fluid is supplied to the stator for cooling thereof.
WORK VEHICLE
A hybrid transmission includes an electric transmission including a motor generator, and a gear transmission including a gear driver without a motor generator. A transmission case includes an electric transmission chamber in which the electric transmission is accommodated, and a gear transmission chamber in which the gear transmission is accommodated, the electric transmission chamber and the gear transmission chamber being adjacent to each other. The transmission case includes a partition wall separating the electric transmission chamber from the gear transmission chamber in a non-communication manner.
PTO LUBRICATION SYSTEM FOR HYBRID VEHICLES
A vehicle drive system includes a first prime mover, a transmission, a power take-off (PTO), a lubrication system for the transmission and the PTO, and a control system. The transmission is powered by the first prime mover. The transmission is configured to rotate a drive shaft of the vehicle. The PTO is connected to the transmission at a first interface. The PTO includes the first interface and a second interface. The control system is configured to control fluid flow through the lubrication system for at least one mode where the input section of the PTO is stationary and the output section rotates.
Oil drainage
An arrangement including a transmission housing forming a lubricant sump and a pipeline including a first piece and a second piece. The first piece and the second piece of the pipeline respectively open into the lubricant sump. The first piece and the second piece of the pipeline are inserted into one another.
Electric drive module configured as a beam axle
An electrically-operated electric drive module for use in a vehicle framework that is configured for a powertrain that includes an internal combustion engine. The electrically-operated electric drive module permits the vehicle to be converted to an electrically propelled vehicle in a manner that is cost-effective and which is relatively low in weight.
