TRANSMISSION

An oil pan includes a lubricant guide surface positioned above a lower end of an output gear located at the lowest position in a gear train. The lubricant guide surface is inclined so as to descend toward the output gear in an axial view of the output gear, and is inclined so as to descend from opposite ends to a central part in the axial direction of the output gear on the lubricant guide surface.

OIL CONVEYING AND STORAGE DEVICE AND GEARBOX HAVING SUCH AN OIL CONVEYING AND STORAGE DEVICE

An oil conveying and storage device for reducing an oil level in an oil sump of a gearbox during operation of the gearbox includes a first piston mounted for executing a forward and backward movement, an intake chamber having a volume which varies in response to the forward and backward movement of the first piston, and a work cylinder. A thermal transfer wax is received in the work cylinder, and a second piston is received in the work cylinder and connected to the first piston. The second piston is moved in a temperature-dependent manner via the thermal transfer wax such that the volume of the intake chamber is increased as the temperature rises.

LUBRICATING DEVICE FOR TRANSMISSION

The lubricating device for a transmission includes a first gear wheel at one of the front side and the rear side of a power transmission shaft, a second gear wheel at the other side of the power transmission shaft at a position different from the first gear wheel and an oil separator disposed below the first gear wheel and the second gear wheel extending in front-rear direction of the power transmission shaft and having an inner wall. The oil separator is provided with a descending sloped fluid passage which is provided on the inner wall of the oil separator so as to be sloped downward toward the one side of the power transmission shaft from the other side of the power transmission shaft receives lubricating oil scooped up by the second gear wheel and allows the lubricating oil to flow into a first gear wheel cover portion.

ACTUATOR OF LINK MECHANISM FOR INTERNAL COMBUSTION ENGINE

An object of the present invention is to provide an actuator of a link mechanism for an internal combustion engine capable of ensuring lubricity regardless of a slope of a road surface. An actuator of a link mechanism for an internal combustion engine according to one aspect of the present invention includes a ball bearing having an inner race held by a wave generator of a strain wave gearing speed reducer and an outer race held by a housing, and a holding mechanism capable of holding lubricant oil on a radially inner side with respect to the outer race of this roller bearing.

DRAIN PLUG FOR OIL PAN

A drain plug for an oil pan coupled to a plug mounting hole formed at one side of a lower portion of the oil pan, the drain plug may include a head portion configured to be formed at one end portion of the drain plug, and a screw portion configured to extend from the head portion and be screw-coupled to the plug mounting hole of the oil pan.

MOTOR UNIT

A motor unit includes a motor including a rotor, a reduction gear including an intermediate gear to rotate about an intermediate axis, a differential including a ring gear arranged to rotate about a differential axis, a housing, oil in a vertically lower region of a housing space, and an oil passage to feed the oil to the motor. At least a portion of the ring gear is lower than a liquid surface of the oil in the vertically lower region of the housing space. A motor axis, the intermediate axis, and the differential axis to extend in parallel with one another in a horizontal direction. Each of the intermediate axis and the differential axis is lower than the motor axis. A line segment imaginarily joining the motor axis and the intermediate axis, a line segment imaginarily joining the intermediate axis and the differential axis, and a line segment imaginarily joining the motor axis and the differential axis when viewed in an axial direction of the motor axis are defined as first, second, and third line segments, respectively. The first line segment extends substantially along a vertical direction. The second line segment extends substantially along a horizontal direction.

Power transfer device

A flange portion of a reservoir plate is provided with a holding portion that holds a working oil supply pipe disposed on a converter housing and that is composed of an overhanging portion formed so as to overhang toward the converter housing and a dented portion formed in the overhanging portion along the working oil supply pipe. Consequently, it is possible to reduce the number of components and achieve better assembly compared to a configuration in which another member such as a clamp member is used to hold the working oil supply pipe. Since the holding portion is formed in a complex shape from the overhanging portion and the dented portion with recesses and projections, moreover, the strength of the holding portion against bending etc. can be enhanced.

MULTI-FUNCTION TRANSMISSION CROSSMEMBER

A vehicle is provided. The vehicle may include a vehicle floor that defines a transmission tunnel and a crossmember. The crossmember may include a pair of longitudinal beams disposed along and sandwiching sled runners to the floor. Crossbeams may extend from and span between the pair to define an inner periphery that extends below and surrounds an outer periphery of an oil pan. One or more of the crossbeams may cap a tunnel that is defined by the floor.

Vehicular transmission

A vehicle transmission having a valve body disposed adjacently to and in parallel with a side cover covering a front or rear side or a side surface of a transmission case in a vehicle width direction in a vehicle-mounted state, the side cover connected to the transmission case, in which an electromagnetic valve is included on the side cover side of the valve body, when viewed in a direction horizontal and parallel to mating surfaces of the transmission case and the side cover, a strainer for removing a foreign material in a hydraulic oil is disposed between the side cover and the valve body to overlap with at least a portion of the electromagnetic valve, and the strainer has an inflow portion for allowing the hydraulic oil to flow in disposed vertically above an oil surface.

Two-part structural oil pan

An oil pan assembly including a first portion having an inner set of openings configured to receive a first set of fasteners to couple the first portion to an engine block and a second portion having an outer set of openings positioned laterally outward relative to the inner set of openings and configured to receive a second set of fasteners to couple the second portion to the first portion and the engine block.
