Power transmission device
A power transmission device includes: a case including a first oil reservoir configured to be able to store oil, a second oil reservoir configured to be able to store the oil, and a partition wall configured to separate the first oil reservoir and the second oil reservoir; the oil sealed in the case; a rotating member configured to be able to be in contact with the oil in the first oil reservoir; and an oil supplying unit configured to be able to supply the oil in the second oil reservoir to the first oil reservoir. The oil supplying unit is configured to be able to adjust an amount of the oil in the second oil reservoir supplied to the first oil reservoir.
COOLING SYSTEM FOR POWER TRANSMISSION UNIT
A cooling system for a power transmission unit that can cool a cooling site effectively is provided. The cooling system comprises: an oil pump; an oil cooler that cools the oil delivered from the oil pump; a first oil pipe for delivering the oil from the oil pump to the oil cooler; a second oil pipe for delivering the oil cooled by the oil cooler to a heat generating element. A housing chamber includes a high-temperature section where the heat generating element is arranged, and a low-temperature section. The second oil pipe is arranged in the housing chamber while passing through the low-temperature section, and an opening is formed on the second oil pipe in such a manner as to open toward the heat generating element.
Axle Assembly Having a Ballast Insert
An axle assembly having an axle housing, a differential, and a ballast insert. The ballast insert may be disposed in the axle housing below the differential. The differential may have a ring gear. The ring gear may be received in a trench that may be provided in the ballast insert.
VEHICLE POWER TRANSFER UNIT (PTU) WITH OIL FEED PASSAGE
One implementation of a vehicle power transfer unit (PTU) housing, such as that for an automobile, has an oil feed passage extending through one of its walls and at its interior. The oil feed passage delivers oil to gears, bearings, and/or other components equipped inside of the PTU housing and suspended above an oil bath in the PTU housing. Oil of the oil bath is thrown about by rotating gears and makes its way through the oil feed passage and to the gears, bearings, and/or other components. With the oil feed passage, the PTU housing does not rely solely on oil sloshing and splashing and being slung around inside of the PTU housing as the technique for getting oil to the gears, bearings, and/or other components.
Lubrication for an electric drive arrangement for a vehicle
An electric drive arrangement for a vehicle includes a housing. The electric drive arrangement includes an electric machine with a stator connected to the housing and a rotor with a rotor shaft rotatably supported in the housing. The electric drive arrangement includes a transmission to transmit a rotary movement from the rotor shaft to drive a driveline of the vehicle. The electric drive arrangement includes a hydraulic circuit for circulating a fluid to cool and lubricate the electric machine and the transmission.
ELECTRIC DRIVE FOR A VEHICLE
An electric drive for a vehicle comprises a housing, an electric machine with a stator connected to the housing and including stator end-windings, a rotor rotatable relative to the stator, and a driveshaft connected to the rotor and rotatably supported in the housing about an axis of rotation, a transmission to transmit a rotary movement from the driveshaft to drive a driveline of the vehicle, and a hydraulic circuit for circulating a fluid.
TWO-WAY OIL-COLLECTING REDUCER AND ELECTRIC VEHICLE
A two-way oil-collecting reducer and an electric vehicle. The reducer includes an input gear, an intermediate gear set, an output gear, and an oil sump, and the oil sump includes a radial sump opening and a circumferential sump opening. An orientation of the radial sump opening is away from the intermediate gear set along a radial direction of the intermediate gear set. An orientation of the circumferential sump opening faces the output gear along a circumferential direction of the intermediate gear set. The radial sump opening and the circumferential sump opening are formed at the oil sump, so that the oil sump can collect lubricating oil churned by a gear train when the input gear drives, via the intermediate gear set, the output gear to rotate forward or reversely, to increase an amount of lubricating oil collected by the oil sump.
VEHICLE DRIVE DEVICE
A first oil receiving portion disposed on a downward side of a rotary electric machine, an oil supply passage configured to supply oil accumulated in the first oil receiving portion from a flow port to a lubrication target part, and a discharge port configured to discharge the oil in the first oil receiving portion are provided. The discharge port is provided on an upper side relative to a reference oil level, which is set on a lower side relative to a rotor and on an upper side relative to the flow port, and the discharge port is provided to include a portion positioned on a lower side relative to a limitation-target oil level, which is formed by a tilt due to an attitude change and acceleration or deceleration of a vehicle.
POWER TRANSMISSION DEVICE
A space in a case in which oil is stored is partitioned by a baffle plate into a first space in which a driven sprocket provided on an input shaft of an oil pump is disposed and a second space in which an oil strainer in communication with the oil pump is disposed. At least a part of the driven sprocket is immersed in the oil in the first space. The baffle plate includes a base portion and a cover portion coupled to the base portion to cover the driven sprocket. The base portion and the cover portion are engaged with each other by an engagement piece that extends from one of the base portion and the cover portion and is engaged with an outer surface on the other of the base portion and the cover portion, and are coupled with each other by a bolt at a position different from an engagement position of the engagement piece.
POWER TRANSMISSION DEVICE
A power transmission device for a vehicle includes a housing that accommodates a power transmission mechanism, a partition section that supports the power transmission mechanism and divides an interior of the housing, a strainer arranged at a bottom of the housing, and a pump supported by the partition section. The housing defines a first chamber located on one side of the partition section in a direction of an axis of rotation of the power transmission device, and a second chamber located on the other side of the partition section. The strainer has a first connection port that connects to the pump, and a second connection port that connects to a second oil path inside the partition section, the second connection port connecting to the second oil path from a direction of assembly of the pump onto the partition section.
