Vehicle transmission
A transmission for a motor vehicle includes an electric motor and a flexible traction drive mechanism which includes a first traction mechanism wheel, such as, a gear or pulley, which is rotationally fixed to a rotor shaft of the electric motor, a second traction mechanism wheel which can be rotationally fixed to a transmission component and which is drivingly connected to the first traction mechanism wheel by a traction mechanism, such as, a belt or chain, and a bearing journal for supporting the first traction mechanism wheel. An oil line extends through the bearing journal, and oil can be fed to the electric motor via the oil line.
Waste heat scavenging method and system for a work machine
A work machine including a prime mover, an electric motor, an electric motor fluid circuit, a transmission fluid circuit, a hydraulic circuit, a cooling circuit, a pump, and a controller. The electric motor may supply a portion of power of the prime mover. The electric motor fluid circuit may be adapted to remove waste heat from the electric motor. The transmission fluid circuit may be adapted to lubricate a moving part of a transmission powered by the prime mover. The hydraulic circuit may be adapted to transmit power from the prime mover to a moving component of the work machine. The cooling circuit may be absorbing waste heat from one or more of the electric motor fluid circuit, the transmission fluid circuit, and the hydraulic circuit. The control may be adapted to control diversion of a portion of waste heat from the cooling circuit to a portion of the cab.
THERMAL MANAGEMENT OF A SYSTEM FOR TRANSMISSION ACTIVE WARM UP AND INTERNAL ELECTRONICS COOLING
A thermal management system includes a transmission, a heat exchanger, and a transmission control unit. The transmission includes: a transmission housing; a transmission pan housed within the transmission housing; transmission fluid contained within the transmission pan; and a transmission fluid conduit configured to circulate the transmission fluid between the transmission pan and within the transmission housing. The heat exchanger is disposed within the transmission housing and has a first surface positioned on the transmission pan and a second surface. The transmission control unit is disposed on and supported by the second surface of the heat exchanger such that the heat exchanger controls the temperature of the transmission control unit.
Vehicle hydraulic control device
A vehicle hydraulic control device for a rotating electrical machine and associated gear mechanism. Oil passages are configured with relief valves such that a first relief valve discharges oil in a first oil passage when an oil pressure in the first oil passage located downstream of a throttle portion becomes higher than a predetermined first set oil pressure, and a second relief valve allows a part of the second oil passage which is located upstream of the second relief valve to communicate with a part of the second oil passage which is located downstream of the second relief valve when an oil pressure in the second oil passage located upstream of the second relief valve becomes higher than a predetermined second set oil pressure set higher than the first set oil pressure.
Motor assembly
A motor assembly includes a motor, a housing that accommodates the motor, an inverter electrically connected to the motor, an inverter case that accommodates the inverter, an auxiliary device provided in a lower portion of the housing to oppose a road surface, a wire harness that includes a first connector connected to a connector provided in the inverter case, a second connector connected to a connector provided in the auxiliary device, and an electric wire connecting the first connector and the second connector, and a lower connector cover provided in the lower portion of the housing and covering the second connector from a lower side.
STRAIN WAVE GEARING WITH BUILT-IN MOTOR
A strain wave gearing with a built-in motor is provided with a motor, a wave gear mechanism enclosing the motor coaxially, and a heat-insulation spacing formed therebetween. The wave gear mechanism has a wave generator attached to the motor rotor so as to rotate integrally with the motor rotor. A wave generator plug of the wave generator is fixed to a rotor magnet back yoke of the motor rotor so as to enclose the rotor magnet back yoke. The spacing is formed in a contact surface portion between the rotor magnet back yoke and the wave generator back yoke, whereby heat transfer from the motor to the wave gear mechanism is suppressed.
Pump/motor with integrated variator for use in hydraulic systems
A variator includes an epicyclic gear set that has at least three nodes. The variator includes a pumping unit connected to a first node of the epicyclic gear set. The variator includes a clutch connected to a second node of the epicyclic gear set. The clutch is selectively movable between three positions. When in the first position, the clutch allows the second node to freewheel. When in the second position, the clutch connects the second node to a fixed surface. When in the third position, the clutch connects the second node to an electric motor. The variator includes a receiver connected to the third node of the epicyclical gear set. The receiver is configured to receive a drive shaft.
Axle assembly having an internal lubricant passage
An axle assembly having at least one lubricant passage. A differential carrier, a motor housing, and a cover may cooperate to at least partially define a first lubricant passage that routes lubricant from an axle housing to the cover. The differential carrier, motor housing, and cover may cooperate to at least partially define a second lubricant passage that routes lubricant from the cover to the axle housing.
Electric drive unit
A lightweight, compact electric drive unit provides high reduction ratios for a bicycle, light electric vehicle or autonomous device. A cycloid gear reducer includes one or more cycloid gears within a housing. The cycloid gears interact with gear teeth on the inside surface of the housing, and ride on a cam shaft having eccentric lobes. Output pins extend through apertures in the cycloid gears, from an input carrier to an output carrier. An electric motor powers the cam shaft, while the output carrier powers a drive train.
ELECTRIC OIL PUMP CONTROL METHOD FOR OPERATING TRANSMISSION OF HYBRID VEHICLE
An electric oil pump control method for operating a transmission of a hybrid vehicle which is driven by a first motor, a second motor, and an engine is provided. The method includes determining a number of revolutions of a low-pressure pump of an electric oil pump based on lubrication flow amount of the first motor, lubrication flow amount of the second motor, cooling flow amount of the first motor, and cooling flow amount of the second motor and determining a number of revolutions of a high-pressure pump of the electric oil pump based on control flow amount of a clutch of the transmission and lubrication flow amount of a rotation driver included in the transmission. A maximum value is determined of the determined number of revolutions of the low-pressure pump and the determined number of revolutions of the high-pressure pump as a number of revolutions of the electric oil pump.
