A dispensing assembly for dispensing fluid generally includes a container having a handle located toward an upper portion of the container, and a sprayer having arms extending away from the sprayer. The arms of the sprayer define a channel configured to receive at least part of the handle of the container within the channel to thereby couple the sprayer to the container. Such a dispensing assembly can be made by forming the container with a handle located toward an upper portion of the container, and forming the sprayer with the arms such that the arms can be used to couple the sprayer to the handle of the container, where the arms extend away from the sprayer and define the channel for receiving at least part of the handle of the container into the channel.

Pesticide dispenser and selection tool

Systems and methods for mixing, storing, and dispensing pesticides, and guiding a user to an appropriate pest solution, are provided. One pesticide dispensing system includes a portable container comprising an opening configured to receive a pack having a predetermined size and shape, the pack containing a concentrated pesticide. The system further includes a piercing unit to create a hole in the pack for dispensing the pesticide into the container via the opening. Embodiments also include a pest solution selection kiosk comprising a display for displaying a first set of prompts for selection of a pest solution and receiving a touch input representing user selection of a prompt; a processor for identifying second prompts based on the user selection and stored pest solution criteria and identifying a pest solution product based on user-selection of the second prompts. The display presents information about the selected product and/or a dispense option.

Modular frame for a backpack sprayer

A modular frame for a backpack sprayer system includes a frame plate having a front surface, a back surface and first and second side edges. A first receiving channel is located along the first side edge and a second receiving channel is located along the second side edge. A support member has a first arm which is received within the first receiving channel and a second arm which is received within the second receiving channel. A stand portion extends at an angle relative to the first and second arms. A mounting member is coupled to the front surface of the frame plate and mounts a tank and a pump unit thereon. The mounting member includes opposing left and right sides, a planar top face and a front face including a concave portion to receive at least a portion of one or both of the tank and the pump unit.

DIGITALLY CONTROLLED CHEMICAL DISPERSAL DEVICE

A digitally controlled, wearable or stationary chemical dispersal device using a pump and activity-based or environmental-based feedback monitoring is described. The system contains a liquid chemical reservoir which can be replaced or refilled for multi-use operation. Electronic controls are used to drive the pump's liquid or air flow rate periodically with user control features and/or monitored, embedded digital sensors. Feedback from the sensors monitoring either the activity of a wearer of the device or the local environment can be used to adjust the pump's flow rate automatically. In addition, user selectable operation mode via Bluetooth is also described.

METHOD FOR KILLING BED BUGS

Methods for sanitizing or killing bed bugs include identifying infested surfaces for treatment, shaking a spray dispenser containing an insecticide composition, and spraying insects and/or infested surfaces from a prescribed distance (e.g., 6 to 8 inches away) for at least 3 seconds with the insecticide composition. The insecticide composition includes about 50% to about 90% alcohol (e.g., ethanol) and about 5% to about 45% water, by weight. The composition has been found to be very effective against bed bugs, and has a safer flammability rating compared to other aerosol products intended to kill bed bugs. The method may result in greater than 90% mortality against bed bugs after 96 hours, and/or greater than 80% mortality against bed bugs after 24 hours. For example, such 80%, or 90% mortality thresholds can be achieved within 1 hour.

PORTABLE ORGANIC ENTITY TERMINATION APPLICATOR UNIT

Embodiments of the inventive concept provide a portable organic entity termination applicator unit. The applicator unit can include an organic herbicide reservoir or can otherwise be an herbicideless applicator unit. The applicator unit can include an outer housing, a cold water supply line, an organic herbicide reservoir to hold organic herbicide, an herbicide adjustment valve for controlling a liquid mixture, a heater core to pre-heat the herbicide water liquid mixture, and a delivery pipe to expel the heated liquid. The applicator unit can include a fuel canister receptacle to receive a fuel canister. The heater core may heat the liquid using fuel stored in the fuel canister.

BLOWER SPRAY DEVICE

A blower spray device is provided having a housing which comprises an electrically driven blower and a spray nozzle, and having a liquid supply line opening into the spray nozzle. The housing has a funnel-shaped intake channel and a tubular blow-out channel, and an electrical valve is provided in the liquid supply line to activate and deactivate the liquid supply to the spray nozzle. An electronic controller having a regulating unit for the electric blower is further provided to adjust the air flow velocity.
