A system having: a boom; at least one nozzle assembly attached to the boom; and a nozzle or a second nozzle assembly; wherein the at least one nozzle assembly and the second nozzle assembly each comprise a nozzle and at least one light; wherein the at least one light is disposed to illuminate a spray from an adjacent nozzle assembly or nozzle.

Implements and application units having at least one application member for placement of applications with respect to agricultural plants of agricultural fields

Described herein are implements and applicators for placement of fluid applications with respect to agricultural plants of agricultural fields. In one embodiment, a fluid applicator for applying fluids to plants in rows in a field includes a frame, a coulter connected to the frame and disposed to open a trench between the rows of plants, and at least one application member connected to the frame or to the coulter and disposed to apply fluid to a rhizosphere of the plants.

Application units for placement of fluid applications to agricultural plants of a field

Application units provide placement of fluid applications with respect to agricultural plants of agricultural fields. In one embodiment, an application unit includes a frame to be positioned in operation between two rows of plants and a plurality of flexible members coupled to the frame in operation such that the plurality of flexible members guide a lateral position of the frame to be approximately equidistant from the two rows of plants based upon whether at least one flexible member of the plurality of flexible members contacts one or more plants of the two rows of plants. The plurality of flexible members include a plurality of fluid outlets for spraying crop input in close proximity to the rows of plants.

HYDRAULIC SUSPENSION FOR BOOM ASSEMBLY OF A WORK VEHICLE

A boom assembly is provided herein that includes a mast configured to couple with a work vehicle. A frame supports first and second boom arms extending from opposing side portions of the frame. Each of the first and second boom arms are configured to move between a folded position and an unfolded position. A hydraulic suspension is operably coupled to the frame and the mast. The hydraulic suspension includes first and second actuators configured to mechanically interconnect opposing side portions of the frame to the mast. The hydraulic suspension further includes a damping assembly positioned in fluid communication with the first and second actuators and can provide various damping levels to the boom assembly.

ROTATING BOOM CRADLE MECHANISM FOR AGRICULTURAL APPLICATOR

An agricultural applicator machine has a frame and at least one horizontally extending boom assembly. The boom assembly pivots to a folded position in which it is secured in a boom-cradle mechanism. The boom-cradle mechanism includes a crossmember and a boom rest at an outer end of the crossmember, the boom rest having a rigid inboard boom stop, a rigid outboard boom stop, and a saddle portion. The inboard boom stop extends from the saddle portion in an out-of-phase configuration relative the outboard boom stop. The boom-cradle mechanism has a locking assembly having an actuator assembly configured to rotate the crossmember, and thus the cradle boom rest. The actuator assembly connects to the crossmember through a linkage assembly. The actuator assembly causes the crossmember to rotate causing the boom rest to move between an open position and a locked position.
