SYSTEM TO CONTROL A MANUAL TRANSMISSION
An automated single clutch transmission, which includes an intelligent gear shift lever, an engager, an electronic clutch actuator, and at least one control unit in electrical communication with the intelligent gear shift lever, the engager, and the electronic clutch actuator. A clutch mechanism is in electrical communication with the electronic clutch actuator. The intelligent gear shift lever configures the automated single clutch transmission for operating in one of a plurality of gear configurations, and the engager is used to command the electronic clutch actuator to change the clutch mechanism between an engaged configuration and a disengaged configuration. The engager may be a rotatable shift knob connected to the intelligent gear shift lever, a secondary movement of the intelligent shift lever, or an electronic clutch pedal.
Automatic transmission control device
An automatic transmission control device with which it is occurrence of meshing failure at the time of engaging an engagement clutch may be prevented while suppressing prolonged time for completing the engagement. Disclosed is an automatic transmission control device comprising: an automatic transmission that is provided in the drive system of a vehicle and that includes, as an coupling element, an engagement clutch which undergoes meshing/engagement at the time of coupling; and a transmission controller that performs transmission control of the automatic transmission. The engagement clutch includes: a clutch gear connected to a transmission input shaft; and a clutch hub connected to a transmission output shaft and capable of meshing with the clutch gear. At the time of shifting at which the engagement clutch is engaged, the transmission controller sets a target differential rotation speed for generating a predetermined differential rotation between the input rotation speed and the output rotation speed in the engagement clutch when the clutch gear and the clutch hub mesh with each other.

A transmission for a vehicle may include an input shaft connected to a power source, an output shaft disposed in parallel with the input shaft, a synchromesh type shift mechanism including at least two pairs of external gear pairs and a synchronous device which may be installed on the input shaft and the output shaft, and a clutch device provided on a power transfer path connected from the input shaft to the output shaft through the external gear pair and configured to connect the synchronous device in parallel with the power transfer path.
