Door Hinge Mechanism For Animal Cage Trap And Method Of Mounting A Cage Trap Door To A Wire Mesh Cage Trap Using The Same
A door hinge mechanism for a live catch wire mesh animal cage trap and a method of mounting a cage trap door to a wire mesh animal cage trap using the door hinge mechanism is provided. The hinge mechanism includes a door mounting portion and a roof mounting portion joined by a body portion. The door mounting portion captures a laterally extending upper edge bar of the door and positions the door relative to a laterally extending wire bar on the roof to couple the door to the trap body and create a hinge axle therebetween. The roof mounting portion, which is spaced rearwardly from the door mounting portion by the body portion, secures the hinge mechanism to the roof of the trap body. When so mounted, the hinge mechanism provides greater trap stiffness at the hinge, improved rigidity of the hinge mechanism and trap door, and reduced friction in the hinge pivot.
UNI-DIRECTIONAL ENTRANCE TUBE FOR RODENT TRAP
A uni-directional entrance tube for a rodent trap having opposite side walls, each of the first and second side walls including a ramp pivot, a ramp having an entrance end and a trap compartment end between the first and second side walls, the ramp pivotable about a hinge pin having first and second ends. The hinge pin is located between the entrance end and the trap compartment end and the first and second ends rotate within the ramp pivots in the first and second side walls. A counter weight is on an underside of the entrance end of the ramp and held in place by a tab extending downwardly from the entrance end of the ramp. A floor having an impact bump extending upwardly from the ramp is configured to shorten the throw of the ramp without reducing the overall height of the rodent trap.

Casino mentality hog trap
A casino mentality hog trap assembly is built into a trailer having a frame supported by a plurality of wheels, a hitch for attaching to a towing vehicle, and a platform. A hinged trap floor is located in the platform and is moveable between a horizontal closed position and a downwardly inclined open position for causing animals to fall into a holding pen. A plurality of feeder stations are positioned adjacent to the trap floor. The feeder stations each have feeder lids that can be raised by animals to access feed contained in feeder troughs. A trigger mechanism is arranged to be tripped when two of the feeder lids are raised at the same time. A scent roller is also positioned adjacent to the trap floor and is connected to the trigger mechanism by a linkage that causes the trigger mechanism to be tripped when the scent roller is lifted.

PEST TRAP APPARATUS
A pest trap apparatus having a trap chamber attached to an entry channel, a drop cover having a trap door disposed within the trap chamber, such that the trap door provides a floor to the trap chamber, a shuttle box nested within the trap chamber and supported by the trap door, a sensor associated with the trap chamber, the sensor being configured to generate and transmit a signal upon detecting a pest, a striker in electrical communication with the sensor, such that upon receiving the signal from the sensor, the striker is configured to impact and rotate the trap door downward, thus dropping the shuttle box within the trap chamber to prevent escape of pests and sending pests within the trap chamber down into a trap chute below the trap chamber, and an actuator configured to reset the trap door by rotating it upward to reengage with a trap latch.

Animal trap
An animal trap for capturing a small-weight animal. The animal trap includes a capturing enclosure 12 provided with a first entrance 11, a swing plate 13, provided in an approach 15 of an animal entered from the first entrance 11, for plugging up the first entrance 11 by swinging forward, and a locking mechanism 14 for temporarily locking the swing plate 13 so that the swing plate 13 swung to plug up the first entrance 11 does not swing back. The temporary locking mechanism 14 includes a first lock part 21A and a second lock part 21B that are disposed in a front end part of the swing plate 13. The lock parts are constructed to have mutually different heights at which the swing plate 13 is temporarily locked. When an animal enters, the swing plate 13 swings to plug up the first entrance 11, and it is temporarily locked. The swing plate 13 can be swung by a small weight.
