Shift range control apparatus
A shift range control apparatus controls a shift range switching system that switches shift ranges by controlling driving of a motor. This control apparatus calculates a motor angle based on a motor rotation angle signal, acquires an output shaft signal based on a rotation position of an output shaft from an output shaft sensor, sets a target rotation angle based on a target shift range and the output shaft signal, and controls driving of the motor such that the motor angle becomes the target rotation angle. The control apparatus sets the target rotation angle to a target limit value, in response to the target rotation angle that is set based on the output shaft signal being a value at which rotation occurs that is further toward a back side in a rotation direction than the target limit value that is set based on shift ranges before and after switching.
Electromechanical gear selection device comprising an actuator
A method for setting a gear in a transmission of a power tool, the power tool including an electric motor as well as a controller for setting the rotational speed of the electric motor. A transmission includes an operating device for selecting a gear in the transmission, a shift fork as well as an actuator, the operating device including a signal transmitter as well as a sensor for receiving a signal of the signal transmitter. The method includes: setting the operating device from a first position to a second position for selecting a gear in the transmission; detecting a signal by the at least one sensor according to the second position of the operating device; transmitting a signal to the controller; setting the rotational speed of the electric motor from a first value to a second value by the controller; positioning the operating device from the second position into a third position; detecting a signal by the sensor according to the third position of the operating device; transmitting a signal to the actuator; and setting the shift fork from a first position to a second position with the aid of the actuator for the purpose of changing from a first gear into a second gear.
Transmission-equipped vehicle
A controller drives a shifting actuator to move a first engagement member from an original position of a first engagement portion in one direction along a relative motion path and acquires first position information representing a first position, the first position being a position where the first engagement portion moved in the one direction contacts a second engagement portion. The controller drives the shifting actuator to move the first engagement member from the original position in the other direction along the relative motion path and acquires second position information representing a second position where the first engagement portion moved in the other direction contacts the second engagement portion. The controller calculates a center position of the first engagement portion on the relative motion path from the acquired first position information and the acquired second position information, compares the calculated center position to the original position.
Method for hysteresis compensation in an actuator and a selector fork that is adjustably by this actuator
A method for hysteresis compensation in an actuator and a selector fork that is adjustable by this actuator and guides a sliding sleeve, by means of a state machine, wherein the selector fork is moved by means of the actuator from a first shift position (xDecoup), namely a neutral position, into at least one second shift position (xCoup), namely a gear position, and vice versa, wherein the position of the actuator (phiAtr, phiCoup, phiDecoup), in the event of a shift request into the neutral position (xDecoup) or into the gear position (xCoup), is corrected on the basis of stored mechanical backlash (phiBL) between the actuator and the selector fork and of a sign (+1, 0, −1) generated by the state machine and associated with the particular shift request.
METHOD AND TRANSMISSION CONTROL APPARATUS FOR OPERATING A MULTIPLE-SPEED VEHICLE TRANSMISSION
Disclosed is method for operating a multi-gear vehicle transmission having a plurality of shifting elements (A, B, C, D, E) for engaging gears of the vehicle transmission. In a neutral gear a transmission input (1) and a transmission output (2) of the vehicle transmission are decoupled from one another. In a driving gear the transmission input (1) and the transmission output (2) of the vehicle transmission are coupled with one another by closing the shifting elements (A, B, C, D, E) associated with the driving gear in order to propel the vehicle. When the neutral gear is engaged, a transmission condition is determined, and if a transmission condition with elevated drag losses exists, then in addition to the shifting elements (A, B, C, D, E) of a driving gear, at least one further shifting element (A, B, C, D, E) of the vehicle transmission is closed.
RANGE-SWITCHING CONTROL DEVICE
During changing of a shift range (for example, from P-range to NotP-range), an SBW-ECU determines whether it is in a range-change delay condition (a switching completion time of the shift range is delayed than a normal switching completion time). When it is determined that it is in the range-change delay condition, it is determined whether a target range should be changed to a safer range (for example, P-range). As a result, when it is determined that the target range should be changed to the safer range, the target range is changed to the safer range. Thereby, even if a driver determines that the shift range cannot be changed before the switching completion of the shift range and the driver gets off the vehicle, the shift range can be changed to the safer range (P-range).
