System, method, and apparatus for operating a high efficiency, high output transmission
A transmission includes an input shaft coupled to a prime mover, a countershaft, main shaft, and an output shaft, with gears between the countershaft and the main shaft. A shift actuator selectively couples the input shaft to the main shaft by rotatably coupling gears between the countershaft and the main shaft. The shift actuator is mounted on an exterior wall of a housing including the countershaft and the main shaft. A controller controls the shift actuator utilizing an actuating pulse and an opposing pulse.
Operation of a multi-speed vehicle transmission
Disclosed is a method for operating a multi-gear vehicle transmission having a plurality of shifting elements (A, B, C, D, E) for engaging the gears of the vehicle transmission, where, in a neutral gear an input (AN) and an output (AB) of the vehicle transmission are decoupled from one another, and where, in a driving gear the input (AN) and the output (AB) of the vehicle transmission are coupled to one another in order to propel the vehicle, by closing at least one shifting element (B). When the neutral gear is engaged, at least an actuation condition of a vehicle brake (11) and a transmission condition with elevated drag losses are detected, where, when the neutral gear is engaged, the shifting element (B) for the driving gear is vented if it is recognized that the vehicle brake (11) has been released and the transmission condition with elevated drag losses pertains.

GEAR SHIFT ACTUATION SIMPLIFICATION
A transmission is subject to gear shift management that provides for shifting gears in a controlled manner in order to provide for a simplification of part and reduction in system complexity. In particular, a range synchronizer component can be replaced with a simplified range jaw clutch, without incurring a requirement for an installation of other components such as a motor generator or starter-generator.
BRAKE-SHIFT INTEGRATED SYSTEM FOR WIRE-CONTROLLED VEHICLES BASED ON MACHINE-HYDRAULIC COMPOUND AND CONTROL METHOD THEREOF
A brake-shift integrated system for wire-controlled vehicles based on machine-hydraulic compound and a control method thereof are provided. The brake-shift integrated system includes a shift module, a brake-by-wire module, a power distribution module and a control assembly module. The shift module includes a shift booster sub-module and a shift actuator sub-module. The shift booster sub-module is used to store and reuse the braking force to assist the shift. The shift actuator sub-module is used to implement mechanical automatic gearshift. The brake-by-wire module is used to implement the brake-by-wire process. The power distribution module is used for motor torque distribution. The control assembly module reads the shift signal, brake signal and current signal from each motor controller to control the operation of the shift motor and brake motor, the locking and releasing of the brake and the opening and closing of the solenoid valve.
Transmission system with planetary gearing operable in forward and reverse modes
A transmission system includes planetary gearing with a ring gear, a plurality of planet gears, a carrier, and a sun gear, a forward clutch operatively connected between the ring gear and carrier, a reverse brake operatively connected between the carrier and a rotationally fixed location, and a control subsystem to switch the transmission system between forward and reverse operational modes in the which the ring gear and the sun gear rotate in the same or opposite rotational directions, respectively. A control subsystem actuation stroke can actuate both the forward clutch and the reverse brake based on a common control signal.

Control device and control method for automatic transmission, and non-transitory computer-readable medium
The control device is configured to supply an offset current value to disengagement solenoids of disengagement-side friction engaging elements among a plurality of shift solenoids that control respective shift oil pressures applied to the plurality of friction engaging elements, and when a current gear position is a first speed position or a reverse position, decrease a current value to be supplied to at least one of the disengagement solenoids that are supplied with the offset current value to be lower than the offset current value.

Drive Device for a Motor Vehicle, and Motor Vehicle
A drive device for a motor vehicle includes an electric machine having a gearbox where the motor vehicle is drivable electrically via the gearbox by the electric machine. At least one gear of the gearbox is switchable by operating a switch element. A medium is flowable through a circuit that has a first branch through which the medium is flowable to cool and/or lubricate the electric machine and/or the gearbox and a second branch through which the medium is flowable to operate the switch element. A pump delivers the medium through the circuit. The medium is flowable through a third branch of the circuit to operate the parking lock.
