A vehicle control device for controlling a vehicle including an oil pump driven by a transmission of a rotation of the motor-generator; and a hydraulic pressure supply unit for supplying a hydraulic pressure to the continuously variable transmission. The hydraulic pressure is generated by regulating a pressure of an oil discharged from the oil pump. When a regenerative braking is performed by the motor-generator based on a deceleration request from a driver, the hydraulic pressure supply unit supplies a hydraulic pressure based on a first hydraulic pressure and a second hydraulic pressure to the continuously variable transmission. The first hydraulic pressure is a hydraulic pressure to transmit an input torque input to the continuously variable transmission during the regenerative braking. The second hydraulic pressure is a hydraulic pressure to shift the continuously variable transmission during the regenerative braking. During the regenerative braking, the first hydraulic pressure is set to equal to or less than a hydraulic pressure found by subtracting the second hydraulic pressure from a hydraulic pressure suppliable to the continuously variable transmission.

CLOSED-LOOP ELECTRONIC SLIPPING BELT TRANSMISSION SPEED CONTROL SYSTEM FOR A WALK-BEHIND LAWN MOWER

A transmission speed control system for a walk-behind lawn mower includes a transmission, a transmission positioning assembly, and an electronic control unit. The transmission is tiltable about and operably engaged with a drive axle shaft. The transmission positioning assembly tilts the transmission between first and second angular positions. A belt tension between a drive belt and a transmission pulley of the transmission continuously increases from a minimum belt tension when the transmission is in the first angular position to a maximum belt tension when the transmission is in the second angular position. The rotational drive force exerted on the drive axle shaft by the transmission and a resulting driving speed of the lawn mower vary proportionally with the belt tension. The electronic control unit controls the transmission positioning assembly to tilt the transmission based on target and detected driving speeds.

CONTROL APPARATUS OF CONTINUOUSLY VARIABLE TRANSMISSION, CONTINUOUSLY VARIABLE TRANSMISSION, AND METHOD OF CONTROLLING CONTINUOUS VARIABLE TRANSMISSION

A control apparatus of a continuously variable transmission includes a shifting controller and a detector. The continuously variable transmission includes a hydraulic pressure supplier and a continuously variable transmission unit. The continuously variable transmission unit is able to perform continuously variable shifting by a hydraulic pressure in the hydraulic pressure supplier. The shifting controller causes, when the detector detects an abnormality, the hydraulic pressure in the hydraulic pressure supplier to fall within a range that is equal to or greater than a first value and less than a second value. The first value is a value at which minimal operation performed by the continuously variable transmission unit is available. The second value is a value upon normal operation before the detector detects the abnormality.

Control device for continuously variable transmission (4) with auxiliary transmission having variator (20); hydraulic pressure control circuit (11) having primary pressure solenoid (11b); and transmission ratio controller (12) controlling the transmission ratio of variator (20) by feedback control. The transmission ratio controller (12) has a high limiter control unit (FIG. 5) that, when receiving a high transmission ratio limiting request, performs a high limiter control that limits the transmission ratio to a High limit line. The transmission ratio controller (12) also has a primary pressure lower limit regulation control unit (FIG. 4) that, when operation of the high limiter control is started during a time period when the transmission ratio is present at a High transmission ratio side with respect to the high limit transmission ratio, regulates a decrease of a primary command pressure to the primary pressure solenoid up to a High limiter-operated final target primary lower limit pressure.
