The plurality of selective couplers may include a number of clutches and a number of brakes. The multi-speed transmission may have four planetary gearsets and six selective couplers. The six selective couplers may include three clutches and three brakes.

Motor vehicle transmission
A vehicle transmission having a housing and a main transmission which includes input and output shafts and four planetary gearsets. Each of the gearsets has sun and ring gears, a carrier which supports a planetary gearwheel. The sun gear and the carrier of the second gearset are coupled permanently to the input and output shafts, respectively. The carrier of the second gearset is permanently coupled to the carrier of the fourth gearset. The ring gear of the second gearset is permanently coupled to the ring gear of the third gearset. The carrier of the fourth gearset can be coupled, via a first shifting element, to the sun gear of the second gearset. The carrier of the third gearset can be coupled, via a second shifting element, to the housing. The sun gear of the third gearset can be coupled, via third and fourth shifting elements, to the input shaft.
ELECTRIC DEVICE WITH TORQUE VECTORING FUNCTION
The present invention discloses an electric differential with a torque vectoring function. The electric differential includes: a main drive mechanism; a bevel gear differential; a TV control drive mechanism used for outputting control power; a first single-row planetary gear train, of which a first sun gear is coaxially and fixedly connected with a first half shaft and a first gear ring is connected with a control output end; a second single-row planetary gear train, of which a second gear ring is fixed to a drive axle housing, a second planet carrier is fixedly connected with a first planet carrier and a second sun gear is supported on the first half shaft through a bearing.
Hybrid transmission device
A hybrid transmission device includes six planetary gear sets mechanically-operatively connected to an internal combustion engine and two motor/generators adapted to selectively transmit mechanical power to an output member through selective application of eight caliper brake systems. Each planetary gear set has a sun gear and a ring gear, each of which meshingly engage a plurality of planet gears. The first and second motor/generators are coaxially aligned with each other as well as six planetary gear sets. The sun gear in the first planetary gear set is connected to the first motor/generator. The sun gear in the second planetary gear set is connected to the second motor/generator. Various driving modes are provided by changing the states of the caliper brake systems and the operating modes of the engine and the first and second motor/generators.
HYBRID TRANSMISSION DEVICE
A hybrid transmission device includes six planetary gear sets mechanically-operatively connected to an internal combustion engine and two motor/generators adapted to selectively transmit mechanical power to an output member through selective application of eight caliper brake systems. Each planetary gear set has a sun gear and a ring gear, each of which meshingly engage a plurality of planet gears. The first and second motor/generators are coaxially aligned with each other as well as six planetary gear sets. The sun gear in the first planetary gear set is connected to the first motor/generator. The sun gear in the second planetary gear set is connected to the second motor/generator.
