VEHICLE DRIVE DEVICE
A vehicle drive device includes a rotating electrical machine, an output member, and a reduction planetary gear device. The output member and the reduction planetary gear device are coaxially disposed side by side. The reduction planetary gear device includes a third rotating element that is selectively fixed to a case by an engagement device. A support bearing that rotatably supports the third rotating element is radially supported by the output member.
CONTROL DEVICE FOR VEHICLE POWER TRANSMISSION DEVICE
An electronic control unit engages two of friction engagement elements provided in an automatic transmission in a neutral range. The electronic control unit disengages one of the two friction engagement elements engaged in the neutral range at the time of starting gear stage switching of an auxiliary transmission from a low-speed gear stage to a high-speed gear stage in the neutral range, and re-engages the friction engagement element that has been disengaged when determining that the gear stage switching has been completed.
INTERLOCK DETERMINATION DEVICE AND DETERMINATION METHOD FOR AUTOMATIC TRANSMMISSION
An automatic transmission is arranged in a hybrid driveline employing an EV mode and an HEV mode, and establishes transmission ratio positions by engaging or disengaging frictional elements. A system or method includes: determining, based on a vehicle deceleration and a relationship between a requested transmission ratio position and an actual transmission ratio, whether or not interlocking is occurring, when the automatic transmission is in a state out of transmission shifting, wherein the interlocking is due to erroneous engagement of one of the frictional elements; and inhibiting the determination about interlocking, during a period from start of slip of a first frictional element of the automatic transmission to confirmation of convergence of slip of the first frictional element, in a situation that the first frictional element is slip-engaged for starting the engine in response to a request for mode transition from the EV mode to the HEV mode.
CONTROL DEVICE
A control device with an electronic control unit that is configured to perform specific supply control, the specific supply control driving at least one of the rotating electrical machine and the internal combustion engine in a neutral state, and supplying hydraulic pressure to an engagement operating part of a target engagement device with at least one of the rotating electrical machine and the internal combustion engine being driven, the automatic transmission not transmitting power in the neutral state, and the target engagement device being one of the plurality of transmission engagement devices.
Vehicle drive system
A vehicle drive system including: a rotating electric machine; an output drivingly coupled to a wheel; a differential gear device provided in a power transmission path between the rotating electric machine and the output, the differential gear device including at least a first rotating element drivingly coupled to the rotating electric machine, a second rotating element drivingly coupled to the output, and a third rotating element that is selectively fixed by a one-way clutch to a non-rotating member and that is selectively fixed by a friction brake to the non-rotating member; and a clutch that selectively couples together two of the first rotating element, the second rotating element, and the third rotating element.
Two-speed transmission for electric vehicle including a pair of mechanical diodes that are individually engaged to provide two gear ratios
A two-speed transmission for an electric vehicle includes a planetary gear set selectively coupling an input shaft and an output shaft. The planetary gear set is configured to provide two forward gear ratios and neutral. The planetary gear set includes at least one sun gear, at least one pinion in meshing engagement with the at least one sun gear, at least one ring gear meshingly engaged with the at least one pinion, and a carrier. The carrier supports the at least one pinion and is connected to the output shaft such that rotation of the carrier drives the output shaft. The two-speed transmission also includes one or more elements that rotatably couple the at least sun gear, the at least one pinion, the at least one ring gear, the input shaft, and the carrier with one another and/or a ground. Examples of such elements include clutches, brakes, and mechanical diodes.
Automatic transmission for vehicle
An automatic transmission includes: first, second, and third planetary gear sets each having three rotating elements; seven coupling elements variably providing a frictional force; and seven shafts. In particular, a first shaft is fixedly connected to a second rotating element of the third planetary gear set and an input shaft, a third shaft is fixedly connected to a third rotating element of the second planetary gear set, a fourth shaft is fixedly connected to a first rotating element of the second planetary gear set and a third rotating element of the third planetary gear set, a sixth shaft is directly connected to a first rotating element of the third planetary gear set and a transmission casing, a seventh shaft is fixedly connected to a third rotating element of the first planetary gear set and an output shaft, and remaining two shafts are selectively fixed to the transmission casing.
