VALVE SEAT WITH CERAMIC INSERT

A valve seat for a valve assembly for a high-pressure fluid pump is disclosed. The valve assembly includes a valve body, and a valve seat fabricated of a first material. The valve seat has a generally a tubular body having an annular collar having an outer diameter surface extending beyond the outer diameter surface of the tubular body, and an annular insert fabricated of a second material more durable than the first material and affixed to form an inner diameter surface of the collar, the insert forming an annular sealing surface against which the valve body abuts when in a closed position. The insert forms an annular ledge edge at its inner diameter surface that is offset from the inner diameter surface of the tubular body to form an annular chamfered edge.

CHOKE SYSTEM WITH CAPACITY FOR PASSAGE OF LARGE DEBRIS

Embodiments include a choke system that passes enlarged debris despite having a relatively small diameter for an input port of the choke system. Embodiments also include systems to prevent dislodging of a choke seat when backpressure is supplied to the choke system. Embodiments also include sealing systems to prevent fluid leaks around the choke seat of the choke system.

VALVE BODY

A valve configured to seal against a valve seat. The valve and valve seat are configured to be installed within a fluid end. A recess is formed within the valve for receiving a seal. A shape of the recess and a shape of the valve are designed to reduce wear to the seal during operation.

A valve assembly for use in a fracturing pump including a valve member movable into and out of engagement with a valve seat body. The valve seat body includes an outer surface and an inner surface, the inner surface forming a fluid bore extending between a first end and a second end of the valve seat body. The body further includes a seating surface extending radially from the inner surface and facing the valve member, the seating surface having a recessed area. An insert is disposed in the recessed area forming at least a portion of the inner surface and at least portion of the seating surface. The valve seat body first end has a diameter different from a diameter valve seat body second. The difference between diameters allows the valve seat body outer surface to be supported by the fluid passageway.

LOW PROFILE MINIATURE SOLENOID PROPORTIONAL VALVE

A solenoid proportional valve includes a valve body (12) defining an inlet (14) and an outlet (16) for a fluid flow through the valve body, and an armature (22) that is moveable along a longitudinal axis from a first closed position to a second open position to control the flow of fluid through the valve. The valve further includes a flux can (32) and a solenoid coil (30) positioned within the flux can. When the solenoid coil is energized, a magnetic field causes the armature to move away from the first position against the valve body, thereby opening the valve. The valve further includes a flux washer (28) that acts as a spring pivot for a spring (26) having an outer edge that is secured by the flux washer. When the solenoid coil is energized, the magnetic field causes the armature to move away from the first position against the spring force of the spring, thereby opening the valve.

A valve seat includes a first end; a second end positioned opposite from the first end; and a body extending from the first end to the second end, the body defining an inner surface and an outer surface, the inner surface defining a main bore extending through the body from the first end to the second end, the main bore defining a main bore axis, the body defining a shaft bore extending from the inner surface to the outer surface, the shaft bore defining a shaft bore axis positioned perpendicular to the main bore axis, the shaft bore defining an inner shaft opening and an outer shaft opening, the body defining a concave seat bearing surface extending around the inner shaft opening.

PRESSURE MAINTAINING VALVE FOR A REVERSIBLE CONNECTION TO AN AIR LINE

A pressure-maintaining valve for a reversible connection to an air line, having a basic body with an inlet opening, an outlet opening for accommodating the air line, and a fluid chamber which connects the inlet opening to the outlet opening in a fluid-communicating manner. A piston which is mounted movably between a sealing position, an equalizing position and a release position is arranged in the inlet opening, and the piston has an annular groove with a piston sealing surface and a piston release surface. In the sealing position, a sealant is arranged in a sealing manner between the piston sealing surface and a basic body sealing surface. In the equalizing position an equalizing line arranged in the sealing piston bypasses the sealant in a fluid-communicating manner. In the release position, the piston release surface lifts off the sealant from the basic body sealing surface.
