ROTARY VALVE
A rotary valve (10), comprising a housing (12) defining a chamber (16), a valve member (22) located within the chamber (16) and engageable with a seating surface (18) to control fluid communication between a first port (20) and a second port (20), a drive shaft (28) controlling the angular position of the valve member (22), and an actuator (30) coupled to the drive shaft (28), wherein a roller bearing arrangement (34) is provided between a surface of the valve member (22) and a surface of the housing defining the chamber (16).
Vacuum valve
Vacuum valve having a valve housing with first and second valve openings, and a closure unit having first and second plates, a roller support arranged between the plates, multiple roller pairs, each formed from first and second spreading rollers, and a spring. The plates are carried together with the roller support when it moves parallel to a movement direction from the open position into an intermediate position, and an additional movement of the plates in the movement direction is blocked when the roller support moves from the intermediate position into a closed position, during which the spreading rollers move along rising flanks of recesses, and the plates are thus spread apart. Rotational axes of the spreading rollers of each roller pair are offset relative to each other and are spaced apart in the spreading direction by a distance smaller than a sum of the radiuses of the spreading rollers.
Solid wedge disk valve with cartridge-carriage
A gate valve includes a solid wedge-shaped disc integrated with a cartridge at opposite ends thereof. Each cartridge includes rollers, guides and scrapers therein to roll along respective internal ribs while cleaning the ribs. The disc moves back and forth within the gate valve via the cartridges along ribs to open and close a water passage way formed in the gate.
ELONGATED FLOW STOPPER IN STANDING VALVE OF BOTTOM HOLE SPRING ASSEMBLY FOR FACILITATING PRODUCTION OF HYDROCARBONS
A flow stopper for a standing valve within a bottom hole spring assembly for facilitating production of hydrocarbons has an elongated shape. The elongated shape has a concave section such that the flow stopper can impact a line running along an inner surface of the housing in a lengthwise direction of the tubular cavity. The concave section allows the flow stopper to impact the housing with a first point of contact and a second point of contact on the line, and the two points of contact are separated by a gap where the flow stopper does not contact the housing. The flow stopper may include a first and a second ball where the balls are connected by a stem. The flow stopper may also include a plurality of balls that are not connected to each other. The flow stopper may include a ball connected to a stem.
Valve, in particular a vacuum valve
A valve (1), in particular a vacuum valve, with at least one closure member (2) which has a wedge-shaped closure region (3), and with at least one valve seat (5) which surrounds a valve opening (4) of the valve (1), wherein, in a closed position of the closure member (2), the wedge-shaped closure region (3) bears sealingly against the valve seat (5) and closes the valve opening (4) and, in an open position, opens up the valve opening (4) so that fluids and/or solids can be transported through the valve opening (4), wherein the closure member (2) with the wedge-shaped closure region (3) is mounted so as to be movable back and forth between the closed position and the open position along a movement path (6), wherein the movement path (6) is angled-off and/or bent.
Screen valve
A screen valve (210) to control fluid flow comprising at least one multi-apertured valve plate (220) movable laterally relative to a multi-apertured valve seat (230) between a closed configuration whereby the apertures are not registered to prevent fluid flow, and an open configuration whereby the apertures are registered to permit fluid flow, wherein the valve plate is supported by a multi-apertured carrier plate (240) that moves laterally in synchrony with the valve plate (220) to maintain a predetermined lateral registration between their respective apertures as the valve plate moves between the open and closed configurations, the valve plate being movable relative to the carrier plate so as to be able to lift off and return into contact with the valve seat. The co-moving carrier plate shields the valve plate so as to minimize pressure locking. Aerodynamic features may be incorporated to urge the valve plate (220) towards or away from the carrier plate (240).
SPRING FREE GATE VALVE
A spring free gate valve includes a power source connected with a shaft; a valve body having the power source at one end thereof with the shaft inserted into the valve body, wherein the valve body has a valve bore, with two lateral sides therein provided with a guide rail, respectively; a drive member connected with the shaft and driving two guide portions of a valve plate to move along the guide rails. When the guide portions move to one end of the guide rails, the valve plate is fixed and in alignment with the valve bore. The drive member continues to move along with a trip of the shaft, and the valve plate is driven to move along a radial direction of the shaft to seal the valve bore. Therefore, abnormal operation caused by resiliency fatigue of spring is resolved.
IMPROVED CRYOGENIC REGULATING VALVE FOR AIRCRAFT OR SPACECRAFT
Regulating valve with a rack and pinion transmission system for an aircraft or a spacecraft, including a valve body, a transmission shaft, a rolling element, a rack of the rolling element being engaged with a pinion of the shaft, a first end of the rolling element being guided in translation by a first bearing, and a second end of the rolling element being guided in translation by a second bearing, the valve including an annular connecting flange fixed to the valve body, the annular connecting flange radially extending between an axisymmetric inner face about a second axis of the rolling element and an axisymmetric outer face about a central axis, the inner face including a radially inner housing in which the second bearing is housed, the second axis being radially offset with respect to the central axis.
Valve actuating device with anti-rotation and axial guidance means
A valve actuated device for a valve having a valve body and a valve translating member; a housing; a rotary and non-translating sleeve mounted in the housing and connected to an input rotary means; an axial shaft means positioned coaxially to the sleeve and adapted to be connected to the valve translating member; screw connecting means provided between the axial shaft means and the sleeve for convert applied rotation of the sleeve into axial translation of the axial shaft means; anti-rotation and axial guidance means installed between the housing and the shaft means; the anti-rotation and axial guidance means providing a linear ball bearing including a sleeve mounted to the housing and at least one rolling element recirculation system, the rolling elements thereof engaging axial groove of the shaft means.
