Seal assembly and fluid regulating valve

A seal arrangement for use in a fluid control valve includes: a first seal configured to sealingly abut against an actuatable valve body of the fluid control valve; a second seal configured to sealingly abut against a valve housing of the fluid control valve; and an elastically deformable intermediate spacer, arranged between the first seal and the second seal and configured to elastically space the first and second seals apart. At least in an installed state of the seal arrangement in the fluid control valve, the first seal and the second seal are joined to one another in positively locking fashion in an axial direction of the seal arrangement.

Multi-port multi-plane valve

Embodiments of a multi-port multi-plane valve are provided. The multi-port multi-plane valve includes a housing which defines an internal cavity. The housing further includes a plurality of ports in which each port lies within one of two planes that are normal to each other. Each of the plurality of ports is in communication with the internal cavity. A shell body is rotatably disposed within the internal cavity and provides selectable fluid communications between the ports. A seal member is also provided which has a plurality of openings and surrounds the shell body. At least one flow enhancer channel may be included to reduce the pressure drop occurring on one side of the valve when controlling flow paths on the other side of the valve.

AIRCRAFT STORE EJECTOR SYSTEM

An aircraft store ejector systems and subsystems thereof. Embodiments can include a two-reservoir re-pressurization system wherein a remote reservoir is used to maintain desired pressure in a local ejector reservoir. The system can include a release valve having a vent valve and valve piston. The release valve can control release of pressurized gas to a pitch control valve. The pitch control valve can be configured to distribute the pressurized gas between two or more ejector piston assemblies. One or more of the ejector piston assemblies can include multiple concentric piston stages and piston chambers, the piston chambers configured to contain a volume of gas. The ejector piston assemblies can be configured to compress the volume of gas within the piston chambers as the piston stages are extended out from the aircraft. Such compression can provide a return force to the piston stages.

Fluid Control Device

A fluid control device (100) having a housing (10) with at least one first port (16) and at least one second port (18, 20), wherein a valve body (30) is enclosed in the housing (10), the valve body (30) providing a fluid path (60) having a first path portion (62) proximal to the first port (16) and an opposing second path portion (64) in a distance from the first port (16) and proximal to the at least one second port (18, 20), the fluid path (60) being switchable between at least a first position (80) and at least a second position (82) in relation to the at least one second port (18, 20) by rotating the valve body (30) around the first main axis (22) of the at least one first port (16).

Sealing High Pressure Flow Devices

Apparatus and method contemplating a high pressure fluid end assembly having a body defining a body bore and defining a recess in the body intersecting the body bore. A closure is joined to the body and forms a sealing surface. A seal is mounted to the body in the recess and configured to extend from the recess beyond the body bore to seal against the sealing surface formed by the closure.

SEAL ASSEMBLY

There is provided a seal assembly comprising: a first component and a second component spaced apart from the first component so as to define a passage for the transfer of fluid from an inlet of the seal assembly to an outlet of the seal assembly, wherein the first component comprises a concavity at least partially defining the passage, and wherein no part of the second component extends into the portion of the passage bounded by the concavity.

A high pressure valve includes a valve body having a surface defining a corresponding portion of a conduit and a pocket. A removable insert is removably inserted into the pocket of the valve body and has surface defining a corresponding portion of the conduit. A seal insert is spaced from the valve body by the removable insert and has an interface with the removable insert. A moving member interfaces with the seal insert for selectively closing the conduit, the interface between the seal insert and the removable insert allows play between the seal insert and the removable insert in response to movement of the moving member.
