Valves and methods of access
Valves with a removable central section for access to parts of the valve, the valve securable between corresponding ends of a line, e.g. a flowline, process fluid line, or pipeline; such valves which are ball valves; and methods to access parts of a valve and/or a line interior.
VALVE BODY FOR A BRAKE SYSTEM OF A MOTOR VEHICLE AND HYDRAULIC UNIT
A valve body is described for a braking system of a motor vehicle, having an insulating element inserted into a passthrough opening of the valve body, which is embodied to insulate a contact pin with respect to a surface of the passthrough opening, the insulating element being embodied integrally with the passthrough opening. A hydraulic unit is described for the braking system of the motor vehicle.
No contact connectors
The present disclosure provides a pipe coupling that includes a coupling body, a first pack joint nut, and first and second sleeves. The coupling body is made of a first metal material and the first pack joint nut is made of a second metal material. The first pack joint nut is configured to receive a portion of a first pipe. The pipe is made of a dissimilar metal material to the first and second metal materials of the coupling body and the first pack joint nut, respectively. The first sleeve is configured to line at least a portion of an inner periphery of the coupling body. The second sleeve is configured to line at least a portion of an inner periphery of the first pack joint nut. The first and second sleeves are made of non-metallic materials, and serve as physical non-metallic barriers between the first/second metal materials of the coupling/first pack joint nut, and the dissimilar metal material of the first pipe.
BALL VALVE RETAINER WITH SOLDERING PASTE SEAL AND METHOD
A method of sealing a metal retainer to a metal valve body that includes the steps of applying a soldering paste in a predetermined amount to the threads of a threaded retainer and threading the retainer into the threads of a threaded opening in the valve. The retainer is heated to a temperature sufficient to liquefy and disperse the soldering paste into spaces between the threads of the retainer and the threads of the opening in the valve to thereby achieve an adhesive seal.
PIN-FASTENING STRUCTURE FOR VALVE SHAFT AND VALVE BODY
A pin-fastening structure includes a first shaft portion provided in a valve shaft; a cylindrical portion into which the first shaft portion is fitted, the cylindrical portion being provided in a valve body; and a connecting pin that passes through both the first shaft portion and the cylindrical portion in a state in which the first shaft portion is fitted into the cylindrical portion and that restricts relative movement of the first shaft portion and the cylindrical portion in an axial direction. The first shaft portion has a first end surface perpendicular to the axis of the valve shaft. The cylindrical portion has second end surfaces perpendicular to the axis of the valve body. The first shaft portion and the cylindrical portion are fastened by the connecting pin in a state in which the first end surface and the second end surfaces are in contact with each other.
Double piece retainer for compact valve
A compact manifold ball valve having a valve body, valve ball, valve stem and two piece retainer system; the valve body including a valve chamber having first and second ends, and a first flow passage intersecting the valve chamber and valve ball. The valve ball can be trunnion supported and include pair of movable seat assemblies that can be used to seal the valve ball to the valve body. A two piece retainer can be used to hold in place the valve components, the two piece retainer including a first section which moves only linearly along with a second retainer piece that is a threaded ring that rotationally locks in place the first section of the two piece retainer. The two pieces of the retainer can be symmetrically located about the centerline of the flow passage of the valve body.
Floating Ball Valve with Improved Valve Seat
A ball valve includes a valve body, a ball chamber within the valve body and a valve ball within the ball chamber. The ball valve further includes valve seats in contact with the valve ball. Each valve seat includes a front face, a rear face and an outer face. The front face includes two or more low pressure contact rings and two or more high pressure contact rings that provide enhanced sealing against the valve ball under both high and low pressure conditions. The rear and outer face each include independent seal zones.
ELECTRIC VALVE
An electric valve, includes a transmission mechanism, a valve core, and a valve body assembly. The valve body assembly is provided with a valve body cavity, the valve core is located in the valve body cavity, and the transmission mechanism is transmissionally connected to the valve core. The electric valve further comprises a connecting seat, which is fixedly connected to the valve body assembly, and the transmission mechanism comprises an output shaft; the electric valve further comprises a limiting frame, which is located on the radial outer circumference of the output shaft and is fixedly connected to the output shaft, the limiting frame being located on a side of the connecting seat relatively close to the valve core, and the limiting frame and the connecting seat being arranged opposite to each other and having a preset gap.
BALL VALVE AND MANUFACTURING METHOD
A ball valve includes a valve body that delimits a sealing seat, a ball seat and at least three fluidic ducts that converge in the ball seat. A hollow ball is received in the ball seat and is movable to allow/prevent fluidic communication between the fluidic ducts. At least one of at least two sealing elements is placed into the sealing seat in abutment with the ball. Only one of the ducts acts as an introduction duct of the sealing element and of the hollow ball inside the valve body, to position the sealing element and hollow ball into their respective seats. A ball-compressing element delimits a further sealing seat to receive the other sealing element and is connected to the introduction duct of the valve body to press the element against the ball. A manufacturing method makes the ball valve.
Tap with integral ball valve
A valved tap is disclosed comprising a tap body having a through bore from a threaded input end to an output end thereof. A globe valve is positioned in the valve body so as to interrupt the flow of fluid in the through bore. The output end of the tap body may comprise a flanged portion connectable to a manifold.
