A rotational valve includes a valve closure element, a shaft, at least one detection element, at least one detection engagement means, at least one first stop and at least one second stop. The shaft is linked to the valve closure element and the shaft can rotate between a closed position and a fully open position. Each detection element comprises an aperture and an indicator element, the shaft extends through the aperture of at least one detection element, and each detection element is in sliding engagement with the shaft. The shaft can rotate relative to the detection element, each indicator element can move between a first and a second indicator position, each indicator element abuts a first stop when in the first indicator position and abuts a second stop when in the second indicator position.

VALVE SEAL INTEGRITY VERIFICATION SYSTEMS AND METHODS

Improved valve seal and integrity systems and methods are disclosed. Pressure in an internal cavity of a valve may be monitored and stored to assist in determining whether one or more seals in the valve are leaking. Internal cavity temperature may also be recorded and monitored to assist in determining whether there are any valve seal leaks. Expected pressure corresponding to a detected internal cavity pressure (that may be determined by correlating temperature and known fluid properties) may be compared to detected internal cavity pressure to assist in determining the existence of valve leaks. Internal cavity pressures and pressure differentials over time may be used to determine remaining valve seal life, leak severity, and/or integrity of a check valve on the valve. Indications of seal life, leak severity, seal integrity, and/or check valve integrity may be displayed to an end user or otherwise provided to a database or computer.

Replaceable body saver

A high pressure valve includes a valve body having a surface defining a corresponding portion of a conduit and a pocket. A removable insert is removably inserted into the pocket of the valve body and has surface defining a corresponding portion of the conduit. A seal insert is spaced from the valve body by the removable insert and has an interface with the removable insert. A moving member interfaces with the seal insert for selectively closing the conduit, the interface between the seal insert and the removable insert allows play between the seal insert and the removable insert in response to movement of the moving member.

Control valve

A control valve includes a valve housing, a joint member, a valve body, and a sealing tube member. The sealing tube member has a biasing pressure receiving surface that receives a pressure of a liquid inside the valve housing and biases the sealing tube member to the valve body side. An area S1 of the biasing pressure receiving surface and an area S2 of a valve sliding contact surface of the sealing tube member are set to satisfy Expressions (1) and (2),
S1<S2≤S1/k   (1)
α≤k<1   (2) where k is a pressure reduction constant of a liquid flowing through a minute gap between the valve sliding contact surface and the valve body, and α is a lower limit value for the pressure reduction constant determined based on physical properties of a liquid.

SEALING HIGH PRESSURE FLOW DEVICES

A fluid end assembly comprising a housing having multiple conduits formed therein. A tubular sleeve is installed within one of the conduits and is configured to house a plurality of packing seals. A seal is installed within a groove formed in the walls of the housing surrounding the tubular sleeve such that the seal engages an outer surface of the tubular sleeve.

Valve with pressure differential seating

A valve for use in oil and gas production or similar applications includes a plug or other flow barrier disposed in a cavity of a hollow valve body with a metal-to-metal sealing surface that is not reliant on any rubberized or elastomeric material to effect a seal.

Erosion-resistant valve trim

A valve trim for use in a fluid flow control device. The valve trim includes a cage body defined by an outer cage wall and an inner cage wall coupled to the outer cage wall, the outer cage wall spaced radially outward of the inner cage wall. The valve trim also includes a plurality of first flow characterizing passages formed in the outer cage wall, and a plurality of second flow characterizing passages formed in the inner cage wall. The cage body is at least partially made of an erosion-resistant material.

A rotary valve includes a rotary component configured to rotate about an axis of rotation thereof. The rotary component includes a plurality of fluid openings formed at an exterior surface thereof with each of the fluid openings forming a fluid inlet or a fluid outlet into one of a plurality of fluid passageways formed through the rotary component. The rotary component further comprises a valve body rotatably receiving the rotary component therein. The valve body includes a five fluid ports formed therethrough with each of the fluid ports configured to be selectively aligned with one of the fluid openings of the rotary component depending on a rotational position of the rotary component relative to the valve body to allow the rotary valve to operate as a five-way switching valve.
