ENCAPSULATED VALVE SYSTEM AND METHOD OF USE
An encapsulated valve system includes a first housing portion having a first facing surface, the first facing surface comprising a plurality of branch pathways formed as a recess within the first facing surface. The valve system further includes a second housing portion having a second facing surface, the second facing surface comprising a plurality of branch pathways formed as a recess within the second facing surface. A disposable conduit is configured to be interposed between the first and second housing portions and disposed within the recess of the first facing surface and the recess of the second facing surface. The disposable conduit is thus sandwiched between the first and second facing surfaces. A plurality of pinch valve actuators are mounted on one or both of the first housing portion and the second housing portion, the plurality of pinch valve actuators configured to pinch the disposable conduit at selective branch pathways.
Pinch valve systems and methods
Disclosed are embodiments of a pinch valve assembly that can include a controller, an actuator assembly, the actuator assembly including a stepper motor, a leadscrew actuated by the stepper motor such that the leadscrew travels in a plurality of incremental linear steps, a piston coupled with the leadscrew such that relative movement of the leadscrew is transferred to the piston, a valve body, where the piston travels within a bore defined by the valve body, a slotted aperture formed in the valve body to retain at least a portion of tubing, and a pin where the piston and the pin are configured to pinch tubing therebetween such that flow within the tubing can be metered.

Pinch valve
A pinch valve assembly includes a valve body having axially-aligned inlet and outlet ports, a flexible sleeve that is releasably mounted within the valve body, a mechanical pinching mechanism, and a valve casing. The flexible sleeve has a longitudinal bore defining a fluid flow path between the inlet port and the outlet port. The pinching mechanism pinches the flexible sleeve to thereby reduce the effective cross-sectional flow area thereof. The valve casing assembly substantially encloses the valve housing. The valve casing assembly includes at least one removable portion to permit access to the valve housing and the flexible sleeve, to facilitate replacement of the flexible sleeve.

Clamp Device and Methods for Making and Using
Releasable tubing pinch clamps of a generally U-shaped configuration are described. The embodiments include ones that prevent cross-clamping of the tube by various interlocking features on riser portions of the clamp. Methods and molds for making the pinch clamps are also described. For example, a pinch clamp can have a strip that curves so that its ends can be brought together by manually squeezing the strip at its end, which oppose each other as a result of the strip curve. The strip ends have locking edges or surfaces that cause the strip ends to interferingly engage with each other and lock together. The strip also has opposing pinch projections that can pinch a tube.

Circuit for biological liquid comprising a pinch valve
The invention concerns a circuit comprising a bag (11) comprising two flexible films (45, 46) and a press (10) comprising a first (14) and a second (13) shell clamping the bag to form pipes having a passage and edges (41); the first shell comprising a valve (20) which comprises a movable member (24) and a pad (31), which pad has a resting configuration in which a second face (33) of the pad is concave and locally delimits a channel (18) and a pinching configuration in which the second face (33) is convex; said movable member and said pad being configured so that, when said valve is in closed position and said pad in pinching configuration, said passage is pinched by said movable member against said second shell channel and said edges (41) are pinched flat by said movable member against said second shell (13).

Flow meter and related system and apparatus
A flow meter includes an image sensor and a processor. The image sensor is configured to capture an image of a drip chamber. The processor is configured to determine whether the captured image of the drip chamber contains a match to a template, and to apply a blurring function to the image captured by the image sensor of the drip chamber such that the processor can determine if the captured image contains a match to the template.
