Mixing valve of an internal combustion engine
A mixing valve of an exhaust-gas recirculation device of an internal combustion engine of a motor vehicle includes an intake flap and an exhaust-gas flap coupled rigidly to one another via a coupling rod. During driving of the exhaust-gas flap, the intake flap is first pivoted in the opposite direction via the coupling rod. The exhaust-gas flap and intake flap are pivoted in the same direction only above a provided pivoting angle.
ADJUSTABLE FLOW SPLITTER FOR DISTRIBUTION SYSTEMS
An adjustable flow splitter for a distribution system, the adjustable flow splitter comprises an inlet channel for receiving fluid at a first end, the inlet channel configured to allow flow from the first end to a second end. The adjustable flow splitter also comprises a first sub-channel and a second sub-channel located at the second end, and a diverter configured to deflect the flow of the fluid from the inlet channel to at least one of the first sub-channel and/or the second sub-channel, wherein the diverter is adjustable. The adjustable flow splitter also comprises means for maintaining the position of the diverter.
DEVICE FOR REGULATING THE FLOW OF A FLUID
A device for regulating the flow of a fluid comprises a valve housing having at least two valve ports, at least one valve seat, a valve member having a closing body, and an actuating unit for actuating the closing body. The valve member further comprises an actuation section, which is connected via at least one connecting web to the closing body for moving the closing body. A surrounding seal extends between the closing body and the actuation section, and separates the closing body and the actuation section from one another. The at least one connecting web is arranged such that the closing body is pivotable upon actuation of the actuation section by the actuating unit to move the valve member and thus the closing body relative to the at least one valve seat. The valve member is arranged to minimize, during the movement of the closing body, deformations in a passage area of the seal through which the at least one connecting web extends. A valve arrangement is provided with a respective device for regulating the flow of a fluid.
VALVE
A valve for controlling a fluid flow, including a valve housing, which is provided with a first fluid connection, a fluid channel and a second fluid connection, further including a valve member which is pivotally mounted in the fluid channel, and a drive for introducing a movement onto the valve member, the valve member having a rigid carrier and a flexible membrane with a sealing region which is provided for a sealing abutment against a valve seat and which is fixed to the carrier and to the valve housing by a circumferentially formed fastening region, wherein a deformation region of the flexible membrane is located between the sealing region and the fastening region and is arranged between a first deformation plane and a second deformation plane, the first deformation plane and the second deformation plane each being aligned parallel to a pivot axis determined by the pivot pin and delimiting a deformation space, and wherein the pivot pin is accommodated at least partially in the deformation space.
