Connector for transferring fluid and method of use
A connector for transferring fluid and method therefor. The connector may have a first port and a second port which may be coupled together at a main channel with a valve element therein controlling fluid flow through the first port. The first port joins the main channel to provide a fluid path around the valve element and through the second port.
Spring-energized check valve
A check valve includes a first valve body having a chamber in which second and third valve bodies are located. The check valve also includes a spring-energized seal disposed in the chamber. The spring-energized seal includes a compliant seal body having an annular shape and a resilient member, such as a cantered spring or O-ring, disposed in a pocket of the seal body. The resilient member applies a force to portions of the seal body to prevent the passage of fluid from a valve inlet port to a valve outlet port unless the differential fluid exceeds the cracking pressure of the check valve.
VALVE ASSEMBLY, BRAKE SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR OPERATING A VALVE ASSEMBLY
A valve assembly, for controlling a fluidic connection between a brake master cylinder and a pedal simulator of a brake system of a motor vehicle, includes a first control valve and a second control valve, the second control vale being positioned between the first control valve and a pedal simulator and including first and second flow controllers to control flow volumes of hydraulic fluid that differ between first and second flow directions.
Check valve with secondary backflow seal
Check valve are disclosed having a primary seal and a secondary seal, where the primary and secondary seals resist movement of a fluid through the check valve, and the secondary seal can provide a backup seal in an instance where the check valve does not function as intended. The primary and secondary seals can be formed by first and second sealing ridges, respectively, and a valve body can be positioned within the check valve, between a valve support, the first sealing ridge, and a second sealing ridge. The valve body is configured to move relative to the first and second sealing ridges, and can have a position wherein a portion of the valve body is engaged against any of the first and second sealing ridges.
GAS-FILLED RESILIENT BODY AND USE THEREOF
A gas-filled resilient body and uses thereof are described. The gas-filled resilient body may be used as a valve member, as a spring or as a gas-propelled dispenser.
Control valve with check valve
A control valve for a camshaft adjuster having a valve housing (3) and having a control piston (4) which is guided axially movably in a receptacle of the valve housing (3), and having a check valve (2) which is arranged within the piston cavity (22) and consists of a spring band (23) with overlapping ends which is wound to form a cylindrical valve spring, wherein the spring band (23), at the inner end (24) thereof, merges into an axially extending spacer element (28), the axial ends (29, 30) of which may be brought into contact with the inner side of the end surfaces of the control piston (4) is provided. The spacer element (28) has a uniform surface which is interrupted in an axial section of the spacer element (28) by way of an elevation (32).
SOLENOID VALVE FOR BRAKE SYSTEM
A solenoid valve for a brake system to control a flow rate of a flow path connecting a first port with a second port includes: an armature disposed inside a sleeve and configured to vertically move in an axial direction together with a plunger to open or close an orifice of a seat; an elastic member providing an elastic force to the armature; a magnetic core configured to accommodate the seat therein and provide a driving force in a direction opposite to the elastic member; an outer filter coupled to a lower side of the seat; an inlet filter coupled to a lower side of the outlet filter; and a lip seal interposed between the outlet filter and the inlet filter and including an inclined protrusion to allow a unidirectional flow of a fluid, wherein the solenoid valve has a flow path opened or closed by vertical movement of the armature and a unidirectional flow path via the lip seal.
Check valve for connecting rod for variable compression internal combustion engine
The invention relates to a check valve for a connecting rod for a variable compression internal combustion engine including at least one hydraulic chamber, the check valve including a valve body with a fluid path that is openable and closable by at least one closure element, wherein the at least one closure element is provided as an annular band. The invention also relates to a connecting rod for a variable compression internal combustion engine including a least one hydraulic chamber that is connectable by the at least one check valve with a bearing shell or a supply connection of the connecting rod or another hydraulic chamber.
Connection system comprising a closing device for diving regulator
A connection system, in particular for a pressure reducer of a diving regulator, the system comprising a connector (1) having a first end (2) adapted to be fastened to a pressure reducer and a second end (2) adapted to be fastened to a valve of a compressed air cylinder, said connector (1) having an internal passage (4) extending substantially axially between said first and second ends, said internal passage (4) including a filter (5), preferably made of sintered stainless steel, and a retaining member (6a; 6b; 6c; 6c; 6d; 6e) fastened to said second end (2) and supporting firstly said filter (5) and secondly a main O-ring (7; 9e), said retaining member (6a; 6b; 6c; 6c; 6d; 6e) forming an inlet opening, said system including a shutter device comprising a shutter member (9a; 9b; 9c: 9c; 9d; 9e) that is deformable and/or movable between a shut position in which it shuts said inlet opening, and an open position in which it does not shut said inlet opening, said shutter member (9a; 9b; 9c: 9c; 9d; 9e) being urged resiliently towards its shut position and being deformed and/or shifted towards its open position by compressed air coming from said compressed air cylinder, said shutter member (9a; 9b; 9c: 9c; 9d; 9e) being deformed and/or shifted towards its open position in a direction extending substantially transversely relative to the flow direction of the compressed air stream.
