Testing cap for a valve body

A testing cap for a valve body includes a base configured to releasably attach to the valve body and to cover an opening in the valve body. The opening is configured to receive a valve cartridge and the base covers the opening in place of the valve cartridge. The testing cap includes a structure extending from the base. The structure is configured to be oriented relative to the valve body in a first orientation and a second orientation. The structure allows fluid to enter the valve body through an inlet port in the valve body and exit the valve body through an outlet port in the valve body when the structure is oriented in the first orientation. The structure covers at least one of the inlet port and the outlet port when the structure is oriented in the second orientation, thereby preventing fluid flow through the valve body.

A temperature protection system includes a thermostatic mixing valve (TMV) and a check valve assembly. The TMV is operably coupled to provide temperature controlled water to a faucet. The check valve assembly is coupled between the TMV and a source of water. The check valve assembly has a check valve body, a check valve element, and a ball valve. The check valve body has a check valve receiving tube, a water inlet tube and an outlet tube. The water inlet tube defines a water inlet to the check valve body, and the outlet tube forms a water outlet to the check valve body. The check valve element is disposed within the check valve receiving tube and interposed at least in part between the outlet tube and the water inlet. The ball valve disposed in the inlet tube between the check valve element and the water inlet.

Tank tee assembly

A tank tee assembly includes a tank tee body including a tank tee inlet, a tank tee outlet and a tank tee passageway therebetween. An annular flange is disposed on a peripheral surface of the tank tee passageway. At least one through-hole structure is disposed in the tank tee body downstream of the annular flange. A poppet valve assembly is disposed in the tank tee passageway between the annular flange and the at least one through-hole structure. The poppet valve assembly includes a poppet and a guide. The guide is rigidly secured within the tank tee passageway. The guide includes a guide base. The guide base has an outside diameter that is larger than an inside diameter of the annular flange. The tank tee passageway is free of any threaded connections between the annular groove and the at least one through-hole structure.

SERVICEABLE VALVE CAROUSEL SYSTEM

A serviceable valve carousel system may include a valve carousel housing having a valve carousel receiver, a valve service port, an integrated first port adapter, and an integrated second port adapter. A rotatable valve carousel may be rotatably disposed within the valve carousel housing. The rotatable valve carousel may include a substantially cylindrical portion, a removable valve lumen, a valve cap receiver, and a removable valve cap having a substantially radiused portion compatible with a substantially radiused portion of the substantially cylindrical portion of the rotatable valve carousel. The rotatable valve carousel is rotatable between a first state that allows fluid communication through a removable valve at least partially disposed within the removable valve lumen and a second state that allows the removable valve cap and removable valve to be removed and replaced via the valve service port without use of tools while maintaining a sewage connection.

Ball valve assembly

A control valve assembly includes a valve body defining an inlet, an outlet and a fluid flow pathway therebetween. A ball valve is positioned within the fluid flow pathway and includes a rotatable ball having an inlet opening, an outlet opening and a flow pathway therebetween, an upstream seat ring positioned at an inlet side of the ball, and a downstream seat ring positioned at a downstream side of the ball, the seat rings being configured to substantially seal off fluid flow between upstream and downstream sides of the ball except through the ball fluid flow pathway. At least one of the upstream and downstream seat rings is a dynamic sealing seat ring. A retainer ring is positioned between the dynamic sealing seat ring and a portion of the rotatable ball to substantially prevent deformation of a portion of the dynamic sealing seat ring in a direction toward the ball.

A valve assembly includes a housing, a collar, a sheath fixedly coupled to the collar, and a stem assembly. The collar and the sheath can be axially moveable relative to the housing between a first position, a second position, and a third position. In the first position, a fluid inside a lumen of the housing can be blocked from flowing into a lumen of the collar. In the second position, the fluid inside the lumen of the housing can flow through the lumen of the collar and into a chamber of the sheath. The fluid can be retained therein or flow out of the sheath through an aperture when the sheath is selectively deformed. In the third position, the fluid inside the lumen of the housing can flow through the lumen of the collar and the chamber, and then flow out of the sheath unobstructed through the aperture.

The steps of providing a cleaning device, a liquid proportioning device and a series of tanks filled with liquids. The cleaning device has a nozzle, a series of hoses and a pump. The liquid proportioning device includes a series of passageways, having three chambers and two valves, and a manifold for mixing the liquids to form a cleaning solution. The passageways include knobs to set the ratio of each liquid that the user desires to mix into a cleaning solution. Once the cleaning solution is mixed, it is fed through a pump to cleaning device for use. The proportioning device allows a user to easily, quickly and accurately mix liquids to form a cleaning solution.
