Pressure relief valve assembly
11466788 · 2022-10-11 · ·

A pressure relief valve assembly comprising a valve housing within which is provided a primary pressure relief valve having a valve ball and a valve spring, the valve spring biasing the valve ball in a first direction into a valve seat to prevent the passage of fluid from a fluid line through the valve, and wherein the spring force is selected such that a fluid force above a predetermined set point acting against the ball in a second direction opposite the first direction causes the ball to move out of the valve seat against the spring force to allow fluid to flow from the fluid line through the valve seat and through the valve, and wherein a secondary valve is positioned relative to the primary valve to retain fluid around the valve spring of the primary valve at a fluid force below the predetermined set point.

NOISE MITIGATING HYDRAULIC CONTROL UNIT ASSEMBLY FOR A VEHICLE BRAKING SYSTEM
20220332298 · 2022-10-20 ·

A blow-off metering valve for a hydraulic control unit assembly of a brake system including a valve seat. The valve seat includes a wall that extends about an axis between a first end and a second end. The wall defines a passage that extends axially between the first and second ends for transmitting a fluid through the valve seat. An annular flange extends axially from the second end of the wall toward the first end of the wall and tapers radially inwardly. A blocking member is axially movable toward and away from the annular flange for selectively creating a seal at the passage. A biasing element biases the blocking member toward the annular flange. The annular flange terminates at a distal end that is radially spaced from the wall. The annular flange defines at least one flow channel that extends axially for allowing fluid to bypass the blocking member.

Metering pump having an integrated overflow valve, and valve insert for a metering pump

An overflow valve is built into a metering head for a metering pump used with aggressive media and under high pressure. The overflow valve follows the suction valve or expands it, and directly lowers a critical pressure that occurs in the metering head, using an overflow line. In this way, the safety of the arrangement is improved, and at the same time, less construction space is used up by the additional valve.

MECHANICAL VALVE FOR PRESSURE CONTROL

A valve includes: a housing defining a chamber communicating with an inlet port and an exhaust port, a seat disposed in the housing between the inlet port and the exhaust port; an elastomeric or polymer sealing ring disposed in the seat; a valve element having a sealing surface that is a body of revolution, the valve element positioned in the housing such that it is moveable between a closed position in which the sealing surface is engaged with the sealing ring and an open position in which the sealing surface is disengaged from sealing ring; and at least one bypass channel defined in the chamber, arranged to communicate between the seat and the exhaust port when the valve element is in the open position.

Wheel Valve Assembly & The Tire Inflation System Made Therewith

A wheel valve assembly having a body portion coupled with a cover portion. A diaphragm disposed between the body portion and the cover portion. A first biasing member disposed between the cover portion and the diaphragm in a cover cavity defined thereby. A control cavity defined by the body portion and the diaphragm, and at least one control port defined by the body portion and in fluid communication with the control cavity. A tire port defined by the body portion and in selective fluid communication with the control cavity. A first and second conduit disposed in the body portion in fluid communication with a third and fourth conduit disposed in the cover portion. An equalization valve assembly disposed in one of the conduits to control fluid communication between the cover cavity and the control cavity.

LIQUID SPRAYING SYSTEM

The present invention relates to a system for spraying a washing liquid, comprising a washing liquid tank, a plurality of spray members fluidically connected to the tank, a pump configured to supply the spray members with washing liquid, a plurality of valves coupled respectively to the plurality of spray members and configured to selectively transmit the pumped washing liquid to the respective spray members, wherein the plurality of valves are disposed in the form of a distribution block with an inlet of the block being configured to be fluidically connected to the pump and comprising fluidic connectors disposed in parallel and intended to be connected to spray members, and wherein the distribution block also comprises a mechanical overpressure valve disposed in parallel with the fluidic connectors and configured to be fitted on a fluidic connector of the distribution block.

Exhaust valve and an engine assembly including the exhaust valve having a pressure relief apparatus

An exhaust valve includes a stem extending to a valve end. The valve end includes a pressure relief apparatus. An engine assembly includes a casing defining a cylinder bore, a combustion chamber and an exhaust passage. The combustion chamber is disposed between the exhaust passage and the cylinder bore. The engine assembly also includes a piston movable in the cylinder bore. The engine assembly further includes an exhaust valve movable between a first position blocking fluid communication through the exhaust passage and a second position allowing fluid communication through the exhaust passage. The exhaust valve includes a pressure relief apparatus configured to allow fluid communication through the exhaust valve from the cylinder bore to the exhaust passage when the exhaust valve is in the first position and a predetermined pressure threshold occurs in the cylinder bore between the exhaust valve and the piston.

Devices and methods for extracting a beverage from a container, such as a wine bottle. Beverage can be extracted from a container by inserting a needle through a container closure, such as a cork, delivering pressurized gas into the container via the needle, and dispensing beverage from the container via the needle. A pressure regulator may control a pressure of gas introduced into the container, and a lance used to pierce a pressurized gas cylinder may include a leading face arranged to reliably pierce a cylinder closure. The regulator may include valve features to reduce valve chatter or hammering and provide a more reliable pressure seal.

PATH SPLIT UNIT AND SAFETY VALVE FOR SUSPENSION DEVICE
20170227081 · 2017-08-10 ·

A safety valve includes a first part and a second part. The first part has a main chamber, and a sub chamber is defined between the first and second parts. A path split unit includes a base with a recess which communicates with the sub chamber. The base has a main path communicating with the main chamber, and a sub-path unit communicating with a sub chamber. One end of the sub-path unit communicates with the main path. A safety path unit communicates between the sub chamber and the recess and the sub-path unit by a communication path. A switch unit is received in the recess and controls the communication between the main path and the sub-path unit. When a severe and sudden impact is transferred to the suspension device, a portion of liquid in the main path flows into the sub chamber to provide a level of buffering feature.
