COMPACT INLINE OVER-PRESSURIZATION PROTECTION DEVICE
A device and method for shutting off fluid-flow in a pipe. The device includes a moveable sealing member inside a pipeline, a longitudinal spring configured to bias against the sealing member in a first direction, and a lateral spring at an angle to the longitudinal spring wherein the lateral spring is configured to bias against the sealing member in a second direction. The device includes a housing with a passage configured to be positioned inline with a pipeline, and a sealing seat. A locking element is biased against the sealing member using the lateral spring to maintain an open position with the sealing member off of the sealing seat. The locking element is configured to move from the sealing member upon a fluid overpressure in the passage, whereby the sealing member extends into the seal seat to close off the pipeline upon the overpressure.
Valve Assembly
A valve assembly with a valve body, which has a fluid passage designed as a fluid inlet and at least one fluid passage designed as a fluid outlet, is disclosed. A fluid chamber connecting the fluid inlet to the at least one fluid outlet is formed in the valve body. A movably mounted closing body is positioned in the fluid chamber. The closing body is guided axially and/or radially by at least one guide ball. The at least one guide ball is arranged between the closing body and a lateral delimitation of the fluid chamber. A fluid passage is formed in the radial direction of the valve body.
Feed-through forming a terminal for a metal-ion electrochemical accumulator, integrating a gas relief valve, associated accumulator
The invention relates to a feed-through comprising a terminal for a metal-ion electrochemical accumulator, produced through an orifice emerging either side of a wall comprising two opposite faces, comprising: a closure means in abutment against the chamfer of at least one through passage forming a seat inside the feed-through; a compression means housed in the through duct, the compression means being adapted to keep the closure means pressed against its seat along a continuous peripheral surface, up to a predetermined pressure of the gases prevailing inside the accumulator, beyond which pressure said gases may escape towards the outside of the accumulator through the passage and the through duct.
COMPACT PORTABLE OXYGEN CONCENTRATOR
Portable oxygen concentrator elements are described including integrated sensor/accumulator assemblies, new muffler designs, and improved airflow and internal gas connectivity. The result of the elements is an extremely compact, light reliable portable oxygen concentrator that is easy to assemble and relatively inexpensive.
METERING PUMP HAVING AN INTEGRATED OVERFLOW VALVE, AND VALVE INSERT FOR A METERING PUMP
An overflow valve is built into a metering head for a metering pump used with aggressive media and under high pressure. The overflow valve follows the suction valve or expands it, and directly lowers a critical pressure that occurs in the metering head, using an overflow line. In this way, the safety of the arrangement is improved, and at the same time, less construction space is used up by the additional valve.
Vehicle-mounted apparatus having biasing structure using coil spring
The present invention is to provide a vehicle-mounted apparatus having a biasing structure using a coil spring capable of reducing a lateral force of a coil spring that is applied to a biasing target member. When N1, n1, N0, and n0 represent the number of effective turns when the relief valve spring 37 is set in a valve hole 34 of a spool 29 in a compressed state, a value of an integer of N1, the number of effective turns when a length of the relief valve spring 37 is a natural length, and a value of an integer of N0, respectively, the spring 37 satisfies an equation 1: 0≤N1−n1≤0.25 or an equation 2: 0.75≤N1−n1<1.
VALVE AND PACKAGE PROVIDED WITH THE SAME
A valve for forming a passage through an inside and an outside of a packaging container constituted by resin molded articles or films are in communication with each other includes a breakable valve that's arranged to block the passage and splits open when internal pressure of the packaging container increases due to gas generated inside the packaging container, a check valve that's arranged on a secondary side located on an outer side to the breakable valve in the passage and through which the gas is discharged from the inside of the packaging container to the outside thereof according to internal pressure of the packaging container after the breakable valve has split open, and an attachment portion that delimits at least a portion of the passage and is fixed to the packaging container in a state of being sandwiched between the resin molded articles or the films constituting the packaging container.
System and method for exhausting stored energy from a pneumatic subsystem of a railcar
A system for exhausting hazardous stored energy from a pneumatic subsystem of a railcar, comprises: an air supply for delivering air to the pneumatic subsystem of the railcar; and an isolation valve interposed between the air supply and the pneumatic subsystem of the railcar. When the isolation valve is in a normal operating position, a supply port and a delivery port of the isolation valve are in fluid communication with one another, but when the sliding shoe is in the second position, the sliding shoe effectively closes access to the supply port, and the delivery port is in fluid communication with an exhaust port of the isolation valve. The isolation valve further includes a means for locking the sliding shoe in the second position.
Systems and Methods For Content Delivery Acceleration of Virtual Reality and Augmented Reality Web Pages
Among other things, this document describes systems, devices, and methods for improving the delivery and performance of web pages authored to produce virtual reality (VR) or augmented reality (AR) experiences. In some embodiments, such web pages are analyzed. This analysis may be initiated at the request of a content server that receives a client request for the HTML. The analysis may involve, asynchronous to the client request, loading the page into a non-user-facing browser environment and allowing the VR or AR scene to execute, even including executing animation routines for a predetermined period of time. Certain characteristics of the scene and of objects are thereby captured. Based on this information, an object list ordered by loading priority is prepared. Consulting this information in response to subsequent requests for the page, a content server can implement server push, early hints and/or other delivery enhancements.
Valve assembly
The disclosure relates to a valve assembly, comprising a valve body, in which a fluid channel is formed that connects a fluid inlet to a fluid outlet, wherein a preload force is applied to a closing body, which is movably mounted in the fluid channel, in the direction of a valve seat formed in the valve body, a fluid force acting on the closing body against the preload force in order to open the valve seat. The closing body is guided axially and/or radially by at least one guide ball, the guide ball being arranged between the closing body and a lateral boundary of the fluid channel.
