A subsurface safety valve for controlling fluid flow in a well conduit incorporating a pressure equalizing feature. The safety valve includes a body member having a longitudinal bore, a valve actuator having axial movement within the longitudinal bore and a valve that restricts flow through the longitudinal bore. An equalization fluid flow passageway provides a fluid path between the longitudinal bore above the valve and the longitudinal bore below the valve. An equalizing device is located within the equalization fluid flow passageway and configured to resist sand and debris effects on its operation, the equalizing device regulating flow through the equalization fluid flow passageway and operated by the valve actuator prior to opening the valve.

The pressure valve includes a pressure control assembly including a seal configured to break a sealing engagement with the seal seat to provide fluid communication between the vessel and the vent aperture in response to a desired positive pressure being reached within the vessel. The seal is configured to break the sealing engagement with the seal seat to provide fluid communication between the vessel and the vent aperture in response to an operator moving an actuator of the pressure control assembly.

Valve body apparatus for use with fluid valves

Methods, apparatus, systems and articles of manufacture are disclosed for valve body apparatus for use with fluid valves. An example fluid valve apparatus includes a valve body including a housing positioned on an exterior surface of the valve body, a calibration set screw disposed in the housing via a recessed aperture, and a cover coupled to the housing to seal the calibration set screw from external access.

Flow limiter for regulators

A control assembly can be configured for use with a pressure regulator having a valve body defining a fluid flow path. The control assembly can include a control member, a stem, and a lever, and can be disposed within the pressure regulator to selectively control fluid flow. The control assembly can include a primary control member and a secondary control member, or a mechanical stop that can operate to restrict flow along the fluid flow path, including when the stem disconnects from the lever.

Depressurisation valve

A depressurisation valve for a cooling system including a main chamber having a main valve, a pilot line having a secondary valve and a blowdown line; the main valve being located to seal a path of the coolant system of the nuclear reactor. The main chamber is connected to the cooling circuit via the pilot line allowing coolant to enter the main chamber, and the blowdown line allows coolant to escape from the main chamber, the pilot line having a lower fluid resistance than the blowdown line. The pressure of coolant in the main chamber maintains the main valve in a closed position, and under elevated temperature and/or pressure conditions fluid is prevented from entering the main chamber via a closure of the secondary valve on the pilot line and reduce the pressure from the valve, moving it to its open position.

CAPACITY CONTROL VALVE

A capacity control valve includes a valve housing discharge, port, a suction port, and control ports, and a valve element to be brought into contact with and separated from a valve seat by a driving force of a solenoid to open and close a communication between the control and discharge ports or communication between the control port and the suction port. A sliding region is formed by an inner peripheral surface of the valve housing and an outer peripheral surface of the valve element, a groove extending in a circumferential direction is formed in at least one of the housing inner peripheral surface of the valve housing and the outer peripheral surface of the valve element, and the sliding region has a structure in which a swirling current is generated in the groove by fluid flowing from a high-pressure side to a low-pressure side in a clearance between the inner peripheral surface and the outer peripheral surface of the valve element.

AUTOMATIC DEFLATOR VALVES WITH VORTEX-LIKE AIR FLOW WITH IMPROVED TIRE VALVE STEM CONNECTION

An improved deflator valve for reducing deflation time. The deflator valve has a main body with one or more ports, one or more vents, or port or vent slots for introducing air into or relieving pressure from within the main body in a vortex, circular flow. The deflator valve also includes a piston having an O-ring disposed around an outer circumference of the piston. The O-ring of the piston and the ports and vents are effective for reducing noise and deflation time and improving accuracy and ease of adjusting a pressure setting. The deflator valve can further include a dual or variable rate spring that can achieve an extensive destination pressure range. The deflator valve can also include a threadless lead in, fewer valve stem threads, or a lock chuck for enhanced valve stem attachment methods.

A sub-machine of a soda fountain with an adjustable exhaust velocity includes a main body, a water bottle connector, a housing, a taper ring, a bottom cover, a positioning seat, an air inlet assembly, an air nozzle rod, an exhaust valve, a soda bottle, a connecting seat, an exhaust knob and key, the connecting seat covers an upper opening of an exhaust valve cavity, the valve rod passes through a guide hole a lower surface of the exhaust key is attached to a flat seat plate part; a circular body part extends into an arc-shaped part, the exhaust key is nested into an exhaust key cavity, and a handle part extends out from a guide notch; the exhaust key is in sliding fit with an inclined surface part. Due to this structure, the handle part is operated to rotate the exhaust knob, so as to perform exhaust and adjust the exhaust velocity.

Valve lever apparatus for use with fluid valves

Methods, apparatus, systems and articles of manufacture are disclosed for valve lever apparatus for use with fluid valves. An example apparatus includes a valve stem for a fluid valve, a pin removably coupled to an end of the valve stem to receive a valve lever to manually actuate the fluid valve, and a damping material to provide a damping effect between the valve stem and the valve lever.
